Spend a night at Periyar Villa Home Stay after a week of being and staying in South India at different venues. This was by far the nicest and friendlies accommodation, and the host was incredibly friendly and patient, and their food was scrumptious! In addition, it is located in a peaceful area surrounded by nature. Highly recommended if you plan to stay in the town.

12 day stay and didn't want to leave. The hosts treated me like a family member. I arrived with no itinerary, just ideas, and they made all my dreams come true. The owners are highly respected members of the local community and known all over Kumily. The rooms are immaculately clean and spacious. Breakfast was amazing. As an elderly first time solo traveller I couldn't have made a better choice. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend to english speaking travellers.

Lovely, Spacious, Clean and Peaceful Homestay managed by a couple. Very well located, hardly 5 - 7 mins from the main mkt. and Periyar National Forest, Trek & Boating tickets to board the bus to go inside the Forest. Breakfast was amazing with delicious home made dishes served warm after we came back from our early mrng. Boating. Worth the value and the experience.

We ate like Kings when we were staying here the food was exquisite. Our room was huge with a balcony that overlooked the garden. This is a beautiful homestay.
