The hotel was very basic, with hardly any amenities. It was located at the very end of the area, which felt a bit isolated and uncomfortable. The outside surroundings were nice, but the rooms were extremely basicthere was no white lighting, only a dim yellow bulb. Basic toiletries like a toothbrush and toothpaste were not provided. At night, the hotel felt somewhat scary as there were no other guests when we checked in around 7 pm. This made us uneasy initially, though we felt a bit relieved when another group arrived later. The overall vibe was not good. The bed was very hard, and the towels were rough and seemed old. The food was just okay. Overall, it was a bad experience, and I would not choose to stay here again.

Stayed at Periyar Nest Resort in Thekkady. The staff were very kind and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. There was a little language issue (Hindi and English), but they still tried their best to communicate and make our stay comfortable. The resort has a nice, peaceful atmosphere. Food quality is average Id rate it 3 out of 5. Overall, a good experience with great hospitality.

Very bad experience in this resort , we were on a college study tour . The rooms are kinda okay but no facility of warm water in the washroom during winters , the food they served was so bad that almost 80% of our students got food poisoning, vomiting, stomach ache , had to rush to the hospital the next day late night. Would not recommend this resort

The only reason im giving this a one star is cause i cant give it a zero. Was there as a large group. At least half of us got food poisoning, the other half were safe cause we stopped eating their food (because it was literally inedible). Food poisoning was so bad that we had to be rushed to the hospital. They didnt even have hot water at 11pm at night (that is when we reached the hotel) in 13 degrees weather and they did not even tell us that they dont get hot water (hot water is apparently only available at 8am) so all of us had to have a bath in freezing water. Hotel is very inaccessible if you are in a big group travelling by bus so you will have to walk a lot. And the staff was also very rude and not helpful at all. The locks on the door also did not work.

Recently we visited that , rooms were pathetic old , no hot water, no kettle , no intercom, location interior village . Only one person is handling everything.he was good to support. Breakfast worst stinky, restaurant is unhygienic and smelling pathetic.Dont visit and don't suggest anyone even for free also.
