Mistara is hands down one of the best properties in Parunthumpara. The views of the rolling hills and mist from the infinity pool are breathtaking. The villa is incredibly spacious, clean, and perfectly maintained. The hospitality was exceptional, and the homely Kerala food they served was delicious. Perfect place for a family getaway or a trip with friends. Highly recommended!

An Absolute Paradise in the Clouds. A Gem Near Parunthumpara Stunning location, impeccable service, and absolute tranquility. The resort is nestled perfectly in the hills, offering mesmerizing misty mornings and beautiful valley views. The rooms are luxurious and clean, the staff is extremely hospitable, and the food is excellent. Its the perfect base to explore Parunthumpara and Kuttikkanam. 10/10

My stay at MISTARA by Driveholicz was absolutely fantastic! The rooms were incredibly comfortable and well-maintained. The service from the staff was exceptional, making me feel truly welcome. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring. I'd definitely recommend it!

The entire experience was above average. The location, the nature around, the serenity of the rain was amazing. And the views from your rooms are worthy every penny paid. We were sure about going on a particular day for our trip but unfortunately we couldnt get the main property on all days, so the owner offered to settle us down in a different property for the day, which was a sub par cottage, the decision was ours to have stayed there for a day, but we expected a basic clean place. The kitchen was absolutely smelly and poorly maintained. You wouldnt want to touch a single utensil there and not even the RO. The fridge was sticky and smelly. Rooms were decent and so were the washrooms. To watch the clouds move and experience the rain sitting in the balcony was great. But given the location, we understand the bugs are inevitable in such places, a few big repellant mechanisms put in place could be a great help. Or its better to carry your own coz there isnt much even they could do about the bugs, given the obvious. The dustbins even placed outside wont be cleaned regularly. And the only two amenities you get are a fridge and a oven. Yet again, both in horrible conditions, you dont feel like even touching them. But in all fairness the owner had informed us about the limited availability of the amenities. Bathrooms kinda smell. And no deep cleaning is done after previous guests emptied the property, which was quite a concern for me. Even though we had to move by 2 pm, we arrived at the property quite late, and the same day morning we informed the help to take all the time to clean the property and there was no hurry to do so. And the kitchen stove was decorative and sticky and had attracted all sorts of insects which made it much difficult for us to even cook there. Unavailability of the stove was informed to us. There were no surprises as such, the owner was quite honest about the services provided during our booking, be it the amenities, nearby places or the shared pool schedules.
