I would go with 5 out of 5. This villa has 3 bedrooms each with attached bathrooms. Dining is common, it has play room and also Kitchen. Chef and servant will be staying there. We booked the whole villa as we went as 7 members. All 3 times food is complimentary including tea and snacks in morning and evening. Initially we thought food would be average as it is complimentary. But the taste and variety of food is too good. Everyone enjoyed the food. A small lawn is there where you can play cricket. They have shuttle corks and carrom boards. Service quality is too good. We had a very good experience staying there and we still miss the time being there. I would recommend this place if you are going as 3 families or a gang. If you can book the whole property it will be good as you will get privacy. Cost for each rooms are around 12,400 including gst. During peak seasons like December, January and May price is little high and it would be around 14,000. This is for weekends. I am not sure about the price during weekdays. If you wish they will take you for a river walk which 10 km from the villa during evening time which is in your own vehicle. Also they will take you for a bird watch during morning. A guide will accompany you for both places. Once you enter the villa, you will not have to come out for anything as everything will be available there. Safety is good. Leeches will be there. Be careful while playing in the lawn. They had recommended not to go out after 5:30 as wild animals may come.

Absolutely amazing experience staying here. Had the place to myself! The staff was fantastic, friendly, helpful. The chef's cooking was super yummy. Was able to book the tea estate jeep ride and had a really great time, actually got to see an elephant from a distance and lots of wild cows. I met the property manager in the morning and he took me to see more of the wildlife on the estate. The house was comfortable and the views were amazing. A real highlight from my trip.

We had a fantastic two-night stay at Villa Fair Winds, managed by Briar Tea Bungalows in Valparai. Location The location was incredibly beautiful, with stunning views of the sunrise right from the villaan ideal way to start the day surrounded by nature. Food The meals prepared by the chef (unfortunately, we forgot his name!) were outstanding. Each dish was delicious, and it was clear a lot of care went into each meal. We looked forward to every bite! Service A big thank you to the caretakers, Mr. Karpaiya Uncle and Mr. Prem, who made us feel right at home. Their warmth and helpfulness added a personal touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. Activities We took the paid plantation jeep ride with Mr. Jagan, which was a memorable experience. The ride gave us a unique view of the tea plantation, and we were thrilled to spot wild elephants, Indian gaur, and sambhar deer during the journey. It was an adventure we wont soon forget. Overall We highly recommend Villa Fair Winds for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic retreat in Valparai. From the warm hospitality to the delicious food and unique experiences, it was a wonderful stay all around.

A colonial bungalow with a wonderful view of tea estate. When we reached, Herd of Elephants (5 Adults, 2 kids) are roaming around. The climate was nice. Butter fruit tree has fully grown fruits, and asked us to pluck them. We were informed that, we will not roam freely after 6PM, as its time for wild animals like Elephant, Indian Gaur to roam around. Good for Family, Groups. This bungalow is not available for Online booking. Food & Service is really good.

If you are looking for a calm and private space for relaxing with your family and friends, then this is perfect choice. A very well maintained villa Surrounded by tea estate with beautiful front yard . Food is nice. Care takers are polite.
