Unwind and reconnect with nature and yourself. Beautiful grounds that reminded us of French or Italian gardens, no plastic in the huts and dining area, Bali style bathrooms and sleeping in a mud house devoid of toxins and chemicals adds to the benefits of staying in this resort. Also the bed was very comfortable and nice to have a proper duvet instead of synthetic blankets. Waking up to the dawn chorus was amazing. The food was generous, tasty and healthy. We especially liked the banana fritters with our tea. The handmade ceramics made the food and drink even more appealing. The room was spotless and even though it has a thatched roof, we didn’t see any insects. The staff are all attentive and sweet. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Amazing Experience. The stay was very unique in the cottages/mud houses. The rooms give the rustic ambience but at the same time are appropriately equipped with all modern necessities and large bathrooms. Very comfortable stay. Moreover, the service here is impeccable. Ambily and each and every member of her staff strives to go above and beyond to provide excellent service and WOW the guests. Very friendly and personal experience in service. The food served was very delicious and great variety and once again personalized to our taste and likings. Very authentic food experience. Overall highly recommended.

We were recommended to visit Mudhouse Mayaroor by our close friends who love to find offbeat, close to nature, homely stays, and this place did not disappoint! From the absolutely stunning rooms and backdrop to the warm and welcoming staff to the healthy yet delicious meals, we enjoyed every bit of it. This property forces you to relax, they even have really good yoga classes you can schedule a day prior. Lastly, there is a lot to do around the property and the team helps to plan your day organising vehicles, guides etc. Thank you Deepak and team Mudhouse for your kindness and hospitality!

Staying at Mudhouse Marayoor was a truly special experience. The negative reviews on here seem to reflect a lack of research which has resulted in people choosing this property when it is not right for them. Those seeking a relaxing stay in a beautiful natural environment, with the opportunity to be fed home cooked food and looked after by friendly and kind staff, however, would be perfectly suited to this resort.

The Mudhouse Marayoor was easily the most beautiful place I have ever stayed it. The gardens were impeccable, the rooms were luxurious yet simple, and the staff were friendly and kind. Our caretaker, Ambily, was helpful and charismatic and she made sure all of our needs were met. There were gorgeous nature walks nearby if you want to explore, but you could easily spend your whole day enjoying the grounds and eating the delicious food on site. I cannot recommend this place enough.
