Some places give you memories; This place gave me a feeling I will carry for a long time. The simplicity of the mud house, the gentle drizzle, the greenery all around, and the peacefulness of the place made me slow down and appreciate the beauty of nature. Everything felt calm, unhurried, and beautifully connected to its surroundings. What made it even more special was the warmth of the hosts and staff. Their kindness and hospitality came straight from the heart and made us feel completely at home. If youre looking for a break from the noise of everyday life, this is the perfect place to be. It is more than a stayit is a place that quietly heals, refreshes, and stays with you long after you leave. Thank you for the beautiful experience. Highly recommended

We heard about this place through Instagram. The pictures and videos provided are true to the T. This place is serene and beautiful. The staff is especially warm and welcoming. They took care of me and my husband like family, and our daughter like their own. It is kept neat, the food is amazing and homely and they ensure privacy for every cottage. I cannot praise Ambili enough for how amazingly she took care of us and spoke to us like a sister. Mummy (as they lovingly call her), made sure we ate hot food and slept well. She talks to us like a loving aunt in our family. I am sure I am missing some names but Jaison, Rani, Manju, Anu and all the wonderful chechis in the kitchen, you guys are amazing. Keep up the good work. We will visit again soon. I will surely be recommending Mudhouse to more people. -Liju, Vidya and Nidhi

A truly peaceful stay close to nature. The entire property has a beautiful natural ambience with aesthetic interiors that reflect thoughtful design in every detail. From the moment you wake up to the soothing sounds of nature, the experience feels refreshing and calming. We stayed in the Griha cottage, and it was truly special. The room is designed with a strong nature-friendly theme everything from the shelves to the interiors, even the dustbin, blends perfectly with the overall vibe. The washroom area is especially stunning, making you feel deeply connected with the surrounding greenery. The staff are extremely warm and welcoming, and the service is exceptional throughout the stay. A special mention to Ambili, who guided us so well and made our experience even more comfortable. The food was another highlight delicious, homely, and satisfying. They also have a beautifully set up natural spot for a candlelight dinner, which adds a special charm to the stay. Overall, it was an exceptional experience with nature-friendly hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and reconnect with nature.

We loved the Mudhouse marayoor. This property is very aesthetically done up and comfortable with a breath taking view , surrounded by amazing views of the western ghat hills , mist and clear blue skies, but what truly brings this place to life is the genuinely warm and welcoming staff. Very approachable, helpful, ever smiling and affectionate.Be it serving meals , or answering calls at night for any help , they were always there. Ambili (reception)with her great team- Anu( reception) Jason,Manju akka, jeenamol(spa) Udith, Rani akka, Pradeep(cab) all need a special shout out. Great work! Being in the midst of nature, one should be ready to see bugs and insects and not be paranoid . As part of the experience in the wilderness. Thank you for the surprise birthday celebration and cake- indeed a memorable birthday. My daughter built a special bond with Anu and Ambili and loved the pets. Very child friendly. Im sure I missed mentioning a few more positives. Highly recommend this place ! Thank you making it feel like we were leaving home. What a memorable trip!

We had an excellent stay at the mud house where we had come to celebrate my husbands milestone 70th birthday along with seeing the Jacranda blooms in the vicinity It was wonderful to meet the owner, Deepak and his Akita . We throughly enjoyed the hospitality of the ever forthcoming staff, who were happy to help with any requests we made The manager Ambili was always available, the Spa was excellent and Mr Dennis was exceptional at his job.. one of the best ever.. The food was wholesome, homely and made under very hygienic conditions... We have given some feed back to Deepak, who was very happy to receive it.. Lots of love to the people & blessings to the place.. So nice to see an earthy and rustic place , especially in todays hitech world!! Loved every bit of our stay in the mud rooms, especially the Tree house, Griha, & moms cottage.. Lots of , SudhirPujaKochhar .
