I had a lovely stay at Mudhouse. As a solo traveller I felt completely safe and comfortable throughout my visit. One thing I really appreciated was seeing so many women working across the property. It was a refreshing change and created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Id definitely come back.

Wow! It was spectacular from start to finish, far exceeding our expectations. The space is peaceful, lovingly tended to, filled with birds and flowers and a couple friendly dogs. The rooms are spotless, cozy, and elegant, many with outdoor seating and outdoor showers. The chef is great as the food was phenomenal (loved the banana leaf lunch! And the BBQ was special, with vegetable skewers and grilled chicken! Oh and the breakfast dosas!) and served with such a kind smile (and pushes to eat more) by the women. Enjoyed a massage, where she cured a tight shoulder, and walked to the river waterfalls. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We had such a peaceful and refreshing stay. Surrounded by nature, it was the perfect escape from the busy routine and exactly what we needed. The best part of our experience was the people. Every staff member was genuinely kind, friendly, and welcoming. They didnt treat us like customersthey made us feel like part of their family, and that warmth made our stay even more special. I cant stop myself without mentioning about their food it makes you feel you are having it from your own kitchen thats an amazing homely vibe. If youre looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy nature with amazing hospitality, this is definitely worth a visit. We will definitely plan for a visit again.

We heard about this place through Instagram. The pictures and videos provided are true to the T. This place is serene and beautiful. The staff is especially warm and welcoming. They took care of me and my husband like family, and our daughter like their own. It is kept neat, the food is amazing and homely and they ensure privacy for every cottage. I cannot praise Ambili enough for how amazingly she took care of us and spoke to us like a sister. Mummy (as they lovingly call her), made sure we ate hot food and slept well. She talks to us like a loving aunt in our family. I am sure I am missing some names but Jaison, Rani, Manju, Anu and all the wonderful chechis in the kitchen, you guys are amazing. Keep up the good work. We will visit again soon. I will surely be recommending Mudhouse to more people. -Liju, Vidya and Nidhi

I found Mudhouse through Instagram and honestly the real experience was even better. I was lucky to get some rain during my stay and it felt like a blessing. This isnt your usual resort and thats exactly why I loved it. Waking up to birds walking to the kitchen for a cup of tea chatting with the lovely akkas and enjoying fresh home-style food was such a beautiful experience. If youre looking for loud music and a typical resort this may not be for you. But if you want peace nature kind people and a place that helps you slow down youll love it. Cant wait to come back.
