Very Disappointing Stay Not as Advertised We had a very disappointing experience at Marayoor Holidays. We booked this property almost a month in advance after carefully checking the photos and reviews online. Unfortunately, the actual experience was completely different from what was shown. Firstly, the host was not reachable when we tried to contact her upon arrival. When she finally came, her attitude was unwelcoming and careless. She simply opened the room, handed it over, and left without any explanation or interaction. The room condition was not good at all. What we saw in the photos was not what we got in reality. The room looked poorly maintained and did not match the images or expectations created during booking. When we asked about food options, the response was extremely rude. We were bluntly told to go and check outside and informed that nothing was available there, without even suggesting a single alternative or nearby option. This kind of response was very unprofessional and unpleasant. We also faced WiFi issues. Initially, we couldnt connect at all. We tried reaching the host for help, but she was unavailable. Even after connecting later, the internet speed was extremely slow and unusable. Although there is huge parking space, it felt unsafe as many gas cylinders were stored there, and the place is located in a main residential area. This arrangement was quite alarming and made us uncomfortable. Due to all these issues, we decided to move out the same day and booked another place. We did not even ask for a refund, as we just wanted to leave and feel safe and comfortable. Overall, this stay was not worth the money or the time, and we would not recommend Marayoor Holidays to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay. Budget is low , same way safety and comfortable is too less

A very nice budget resort, perfect for families and couples. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained for the price. The food is tasty, homely, and suits all age groups. The atmosphere is calm and friendly, making it easy to relax and enjoy time together. Staff members are polite and helpful. Overall, great value for money and a pleasant stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort! The infrastructure is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious with a good variety of options. Every meal was fresh and tasty, especially the traditional dishes. The restaurant ambience was also very pleasant. Staff were polite, helpful, and always ready to assist. Overall, it was a perfect getaway for our family. Highly recommended!

The property is well maintained, offers parking facilities, and is easy to access as it is located near Marayoor Bus Station. The staff was very friendly, and the room provided was simple yet comfortable. The kitchen is active, and meals can be arranged if informed in advance. They also offer jeep safari, which is a must-try as it covers many beautiful spots around Marayoor and Kanthalloor that are not easily accessible by small cars. You will not regret the money spent on the safari.

We had a very nice and peaceful stay in this mudhouse. By mistake, we booked the room for Sunday instead of Saturday, and unfortunately, the room was not available on Saturday. However, the hosts were extremely kind and patientthey waited to see if someone would cancel, and thankfully arranged the mudhouse for us. The stay was comfortable and pleasant, and the overall experience felt very calm and close to nature. Since its located in Marayoor town, getting food and other essentials is easy and convenient. Overall, a great stay with very supportive hosts. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Marayoor.
