Mr Basil and his father made my family feel right at home. They’re kind, courteous and generous hosts who made our stay worth remembering. The check in was smooth and late night conversation with Basil’s father was one of the better moments of our trip. It’s situated right near the forest entrance and the rooms were smelling great and spotlessly clean!! Drinking water and every basic amnesties we’re provided prior to checking in. All the fine restaurants and cafés are situated in close proximity of the property. I’d highly recommend this place eyes closed and I’d happily come back here again! 5/5 any day!!

Mr. Abdul and his family are wonderful hosts, kind and attentive. The room was comfortable, very clean, in a calm area of Thekkady, very close to the entrance of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and the Wildlife Office Premises, where you can book the activities inside the Park. It was a very nice moment and I really enjoyed it, especially the conversations with Mr. Abdul, and his great sense of humour. I felt like at home, so I recommend Thekkady Homestay wholeheartedly to enjoy your visit to the area. Thanks and hope we'll meet again!

you get more than you expect! The room is big, clean, just perfect. The location is in the middle of everything. But the hospitality is like 200%!!! They offer you drinks, lunch to join with them. The hole family is very kind and do all to give you the most pleasant stay! They real love it to welcome you, you feel en see it in everything! Most recommended place I have been in India. I stayed longer also because of the welcoming atmosphere here!
