One of the best stays I had here in Kerala. Rooms are neat & clean, the vibes in the room is fresh n aesthetic, nice lights in the room, small balcony with the periyar tiger reserve view. And the host Abdullah Rahim chacha is the gem of this home stay....he talk with you like one who cares about your trip/tour/travel and even guide accordingly. Koi agar north India se aa rahe ho family ho, couple ho aapke liye yeh homestay kisi hotel se badhiya rahega..so go for this.

Mr Basil and his father made my family feel right at home. They’re kind, courteous and generous hosts who made our stay worth remembering. The check in was smooth and late night conversation with Basil’s father was one of the better moments of our trip. It’s situated right near the forest entrance and the rooms were smelling great and spotlessly clean!! Drinking water and every basic amnesties we’re provided prior to checking in. All the fine restaurants and cafés are situated in close proximity of the property. I’d highly recommend this place eyes closed and I’d happily come back here again! 5/5 any day!!
