We had an excellent experience staying at Olam Homestay. The property is so well managed and maintained by Ganesh ettan and his staff. What impressed me most is the cleanliness and quality of everything. They are really friendly people who are ready to help and provide suggestions for all your sightseeing plans. I would highly recommend this place to stay in Varkala.

We had a very pleasant stay, the property is really beautiful and only 2 min from the beach and north cliff. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The homestay caretaker is very nice and helpful and as it was Onam he also invited us for Onam sadhya which was very sweet. Highly recommended

Stayed there for one night and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean, cozy, and truly felt like home. The host was incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. He helped us arrange a bike and suggested activities to do around the area. The bike rental person was not responding at first, so the host even paid the deposit from his own pocket to help us out and later collected it from the rental provider. Truly appreciate his kindness and support. Highly recommended!

Olam Homestay was a very cozy and well maintained property. We chose the smaller room for 2 people. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. The exterior of the property is also well kept and beautifully done. The location is great as the North cliff is just a 5-minute walk from the homestay. Ganeshettan was a great host! Will definitely look for Olam the next time we visit Varkala.

Nice room maintenance.We had stayed for two days. Common kitchen also available for self cooking & even washing machine also there. Only problem is with the pathway. It's very narrow just 4-5 feet wide. Only bikes can go. Car parking is not available. Need to be alert while walking through that path. We saw a snack after vacating the room it is passing through the wall beside to Shiva temple. Apart from this, everything is nice.
