Enjoyed my stay here a lot! Vinod (the owner) is creating a very welcoming atmosphere, sitting together in the evening, playing guitar. This place feels like coming home! Would definitely recommend!

This place is totally a vibe! Homestay is perfectly situated near to the beach and all the main attractions points are near by! Owner of this property helps you with all required contacts or bike rentals! We were so amazed that after hearing his voice! Spend an amazing night with singing so many beautiful songs! He is very sweet! Thank you so much for hosting us!??????

Our stay at Gone Coastal was lovely. Very relaxing environment. We initially booked one night and soon after extended our stay. The property owner, Vinod, made us feel very welcomed and has such a cheerful spirit. He not only took care of us during our stay, but also his other guest. You know that saying, "come as guest, leave as family" this is how we felt. It was sad leaving this paradise but I'm sure we'll meet again. All the best Vinod, you are a great person. You made our stay unforgettable.

Gone Coastal Homestay is in an ideal location—peaceful and away from the busy streets, yet just a short walk to the cliff. The vibe here is laid-back and welcoming, with hammocks to relax in and plenty of space to unwind. The owner truly makes the experience special. We spent many nights playing guitar, singing songs, and enjoying the community feel. They’re also incredibly helpful if you need to book anything or get local recommendations. The rooms are excellent value—clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you need, all at a fantastic price. I honestly couldn’t see myself staying anywhere else in Varkala. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a chill, friendly stay.

What a lovely hostel. Vinud was very kind and a laid back guy, every evening he would play his guitar and practise singing, giving a really inviting warm welcome for guests to join him. We made some lovely friends. Really good value for a private room to. Perfect location and our room was nice. Thankyou “Boss” x
