We had a wonderful stay at this homestay in Pichad, located about 16 km from Munnar at an elevation of around 1,000 meters. The climate here is truly refreshingcool and pleasant during the nights, and comfortably mild throughout the day. The property is set amidst a beautiful cardamom plantation with tall trees all around, creating a serene, peaceful, and calming atmosphere. Its an ideal place if youre looking to disconnect and enjoy nature. The house itself offers spacious rooms with all essential furnishings, ensuring a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the lovely walking trail just behind the propertya scenic 2 km paved route through the plantation, perfect for a relaxing stroll. That said, the only area for improvement would be maintenance and cleanliness, which could be handled a bit better to enhance the overall experience.

It is a good accomodation in the hills between Kallar and Mankulam,near lush green Cardamom estate and close to Lachmi tea estate. Both refreshing and cool destination for a stay. Food you have to walk to the near tea shop. Especially night food you gave to book in advance. Otherwise you have to go to Adimali. Rooms are spacious, We have stayed two days with family and enjoyed the nearby areas of Munnar.

The cottage is located in a beautiful and scenic area, a great place to spend a day with friends and family. The rooms were decent for the price and overall comfortable. However, the main drawback was the service. Food was not provided on site, but the caretaker informed us that he could arrange dinner from a nearby hotel. Unfortunately, when we ordered the dinner through him after reaching there at evening, he went out later and returned late, so we had to arrange food by ourselves. Also, there was no network coverage in the area. Overall, it's a nice spot for a peaceful getaway, but be prepared for limited service and plan your meals in advance.

I had a wonderful stay at this cottage, The place was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with a calm and pleasant ambiance that made it feel very welcoming. The overall atmosphere was peaceful, perfect for a relaxing stay. What truly stood out was the food it was simple, delicious, and had a comforting, homely taste that reminded me of home-cooked meals. Every dish felt freshly prepared and full of authentic flavor. Considering the quality of service, cleanliness, and food, I would say its definitely worth the money. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and budget-friendly stay.
