We had a one day stay and it was memorable and adventurous. The food was also a bit on the budget. The place is far away from the munnar junction so plan accordingly on your trip

I really had a worst experience in this resort.. we booked on a new year eve and there was no proper control by the management.. there were a large group of bachelors who booked the entire resort and kept shouting and drinking till 4 o clock in the morning ..they didnt have the decency to close the rooms and do whatever they want… they just kept the door open and singing throughout the night and breaking bottles..we couldn’t sleep in the night..the management which is responsible for all these never questioned them.. highly irresponsible management… I will never recommend this resort to the family…we wanted to enjoy the new year as a couple.. I am highly disappointed..Access to this resort is not easy.., food was okayish

The resort stay was nice. It was pool resort in mankulam. They arranged jeep safari through forest , waterfalls and also visited wild elephants drinking water. we stayed in deluxe room , it's balcony view was super. It is a mountain view resort. Food was nice, they prepared and served according to what we order. Although it was good experience . Will visit again

Rambler Garden Resorts at Mankulam, Idukki lies near Munnar hillstation. Surrounded by high mountain peaks and deep forests it is a place of beauty which you cannot ignore. The Resort itself stands inside forest area and you can get there only in a Jeep which the resort owners may arrange. The property is wide but as it lies on the slop of a mountain you don't have much area for roaming around. The resort is having three stories and rooms are spacious enough. The rooms are new and is kept clean. The problem is getting hot water is somewhat difficalt as they depend mainly on solar water heater. There is no lift in the building and there is no means of contacting the reception from the room. Restaurant fascility is also limited to what you order in advamce. Comparing the amenities they provide the rent charged felt a bit high.
