Our stay at jungle view home stay was a very pleasant one! The owners were so kind and gave us more blankets, borrowed cutlery, gave us tips on how to get around, by ordering a rickshaw late at night for the next morning. The room was fine and we had dinner on the balcony, with a view into the jungle surrounding the house! Beautiful :) You can also ask them to book tours in Periyar when you book you stay with them!

Recently we had the pleasure of staying at Jungle View homestay and it turned out to be one of the most memorable and rewarding travel experiences we tvhave ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted in an atmosphere of warmth, care, and authenticity that you rarely find in commercial accommodations. The host, Mr. Nazeer, was truly exceptional. Upon arrival, We were greeted with a warm smile and a refreshing welcome drink, which immediately set the tone for our stay. He made it a point to introduce himself and get to know us, ensuring we felt comfortable and at home. The room was clean and spacious. The location of Jungle View was ideal. It was situated in a peaceful, picturesque area surrounded by nature, yet conveniently close to popular attractions. The interior was amazing. It was decorated with an old cycle, tape recorder, lamp, radio and so many things. The view from the balcony in the morning was amazing with so many birds. The hosts was kind enough to provide detailed recommendations for activities of the area. Jungle view homestay was an experience filled with warmth, authenticity, and joy. It was more than just a place to stay; it was a chance to connect with wonderful nature and create memories that will last a lifetime. I I wholeheartedly recommend this homestay to anyone seeking a mesmerizing nature, comfortable, and enriching travel experience. I can’t wait to return and relive this beautiful experience again.

We had a terrible experience at this place. First of all we booked 2 rooms from Agoda and we confirmed multiple times by call as well. While arriving the owner was giving priority to the foreigners for the sake of money saying that rooms we booked are already occupied they just provided 1 room stating it's a big room which is equal to the 2 rooms which we booked but is not that kind of room that would accommodate 8 of us. Secondly our plan was to cook the food since we saw the option of an open kitchen at the time of booking. They provided utensils at 9 pm and they were asking us to close by 10 pm. Drunkard owner forcefully closed the kitchen with our half cooked food. It was a completely bad experience we came here after reading positive reviews but it was a complete disaster.

The stay was very comfortable and affordable. The place is just on the border with forest yet not isolated. Breakfast was tasty . Rooms are airy and big with nice verandah. Bathroom was big and neat . The caretaker and family is always available for any help.

We were given a small, shabby, humid corner room. The rooms ???? the first and second floor are good. But, the owner give this rooms to foreigners alone. No hot water. No toiletries. Ugly used stained bed spread and thin wollen bed sheet. No kettle or warm water. His treatment is not equal to all guests. He treat people who may write a review, may be unaware even simple looking old people too can write reviews
