Stayed at Illikkalam for 2 nights and was very happy, especially with the service. All of the staff are so attentive, helpful and generous. The team took us around the property and all the lovely vegetables and fruits growing there as well as giving us a lovely taste of the fresh fruits. We relaxed by the lakeside which was absolutely stunning and peaceful, and they were so accomodating to us working on our laptops there too - wifi is plenty and great all around the stay. We did not get a lakeside cottage, but no complaints with our room at all, it was clean, comfortable, with fan and AC and a small TV (we did not use). One of the best parts was the food!! The kitchen staff are incredible, on the first night we had a feast of porotta, beef roast, fish pollachithu, veg stew, and dahl and everything was so tasty! Special mention to the beef roast, you definitely have to get this! We also had two breakfasts which were lovely, and their fresh juices with fruits from their farm are so nice and refreshing. Overall the stay is perfect for all, the staff make it a lovely place to stay no matter what your requirements are, its definitely family friendly as well as if you need to work, and the lakeside view is truly special. Highly recommend, would definitely come again. Thank you!

Excellent Lakeside Stay Perfect for Family Relaxation I am Dr. Jacob Zachariah, and I stayed with my family at Illikkalam Lakeside Cottages on January 15th. We reached the resort around 4:30 PM and were warmly welcomed with tea and delicious snacks, which immediately set a pleasant tone for our stay. The management kindly took us for a walk around the property and explained their vegetable and fruit farming, which was truly impressive and refreshing to see. The lakeside view during sunset was breathtaking, complemented by the cool natural breeze from the lake an absolutely relaxing and peaceful experience. The cottage was clean, neat, and well-maintained, making it very comfortable for a family stay. Dinner, breakfast and lunch were prepared based on our order, and the food was excellent and delicious, with a homely touch. The management and staff are extremely friendly, courteous, and supportive, making us feel safe and well cared for throughout our stay. Overall, Illikkalam Lakeside Cottages is a budget-friendly, safe, and ideal place for families looking to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful experience here. A wonderful place for having a quiet and relaxing moments. Had a nice lakeside view. All the staffs were very helpful . The food was just amazing with fresh vegetables and fruits, freshly picked up from their own garden.

We had a wonderful stay at ILLIKKALAM Lakeside Cottages. The location is absolutely beautiful, right beside the lake with stunning sunrise and sunset views. The peaceful atmosphere makes it a perfect place to relax and unwind away from city life. The cottages were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were very friendly, polite, and always ready to help. We really enjoyed the authentic Kerala food served there fresh and tasty! If you are looking for a calm, nature-friendly stay in Kumarakom with great hospitality, this is definitely a place to visit. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Illikkalam Lakeside Cottages, and truly loved the overall experience. The lakeside location is simply beautiful watching continuous boat movements on the lake along with breathtaking sunsets was incredibly relaxing and memorable. One of the highlights was the food. It was fresh, tasty, and made the experience even better. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that they have their own organic farming within the property. We enjoyed fresh fruits like star fruit, papaya, and refreshing watermelon juice, which added a very authentic and healthy touch to the stay. Special thanks to Anil, the night manager, who was extremely courteous, helpful, and warm. His hospitality and polite nature made us feel very comfortable and well taken care of. Overall, Illikkalam Lakeside Cottages is a perfect place for anyone looking for peace, nature, great views, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended we would definitely love to visit again!
