A lovely place where we halted for a night, right by the beach, with the windows offering a panoramic view of the wide surf, sand, and sun. It has a true tropical vibe. The room was spacious and equipped with all the necessary comforts. The service was pleasant, friendly, and warm from check in to check out. We truly loved it. The spa was also a highlight, reasonably priced and very well done. Good times indeed. The restaurant on the fifth floor, with its open balcony, serves very good food and offers a gorgeous view to enjoy sipping your favorite coffee or tea. Just a short rickshaw ride from the Cliff, the lively heart of Varkala, yet walkable along the beach if one wishes. Highly recommend and would love to visit again.

This resort has a great view, the rooms are sea facing. You can relax in the wonderful well maintained and most importantly disciplined pool area or go to the beach directly which is in front of the resort. The shops are near by. You can walk to cliff beach which is only 600 metres away if you walk over the beach line. The rooms are well maintained, clean, properly equipped in every sense. The lift is in place which isn't usually busy. The resort has a restaurant on the 5th floor promising a beautiful sea view while to dine in. The staff is friendly and cooperative. I would love to come again to Varkala and stay in the same hotel.

My experience at Hindustan Beach Retreat was quite pleasant. I visited with a group for a short stay we had breakfast there and used a room for a few hours to freshen up and change. From booking to checkout, we were assisted by Ms. Krishna, who was extremely courteous and attentive. She ensured everything was well taken care of, which made our brief stay very comfortable. The hotels location is excellent just a short walk from Varkala Beach and the Sree Janardhanaswamy Temple. The breakfast buffet was impressive, offering a wide variety of South Indian, North Indian, and Continental dishes, along with a live counter serving fresh dosa varieties. The room we used was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. The room and the dining area had a great view of the beach. However, there are a few areas for improvement. The parking space is quite limited during peak hours, the dining area could use brighter lighting to make it feel more inviting, and the bathroom towels seemed worn out and could be replaced. Also, the bathroom in the executive room was relatively small compared to the rest of the space. Overall, Hindustan Beach Retreat is a good choice for a short stay in Varkala comfortable, conveniently located, and offering friendly service and great food.

I loved the place for my stay at this place. I have booked sea view room which was very beautiful, u can enjoy beach view from room only. Also this place is very near to beach , you only have to walk 100 meters to go to beach. Hotel staff was very kind and helpful they explained everything with timing to all activities. Breakfast was also very tasty, you get plenty of options to eat whether you are from south or north. To combine all, much recommended if you are planning to stay in varkala nearby beach.

Room is spacious and view from the room is great. But, bathroom is just okay. Overall maintainance can be improved. Breakfast was not good. less items and average taste. Otherwise all good. Great location, swimming pool and Service.
