Heres a polished, positive review you can post for Grasmere Resort: Had an amazing stay at Grasmere Hotel Vagamon! The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by misty hills and peaceful greenery that make the whole experience relaxing and refreshing. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained with a wonderful view of nature. The staff were extremely polite, friendly, and always ready to help. The food was delicious with good variety, and the overall service was excellent throughout our stay. What I loved most was the calm atmosphere perfect for a family trip, couples getaway, or even a peaceful weekend break away from the city. The property is well maintained and gives a perfect blend of comfort and nature. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Vagamon. Would definitely love to visit again!

We booked the resort seeing the ratings and reviews but sorry to say we were disappointed. The caretakers and staff are very prompt and are doing a good job of managing everything in the best possible way they can. First of all ,the location is very remote.When we reached it was past beyond the check in time and due to the Google map disaster we couldn't have lunch on our way .When we reached they didn't have any snacks or tea coffee even to serve us. And we had to travel again for 12 km more to eat food since we were starving.Also the road leading to the resort is muddy. The rooms were just an average ,don't get fooled by the photos,the bathroom was small with a bathtub.The toilet faucet was leaking and it was cumbersome to use it .We didn't get hot water in the bathroom. Also they advertise the bathtub view ,but the reality is that if you move the curtain, outsiders would get a view of your bathscene and also the curtain was arranged in such a way that it blocked the exhaust fan from serving its purpose . The lock was broken, balcony doors weren't working. There were no tea coffee /kettle ,minibar available in the room as mentioned in the room features. The balcony view we got was that of the entrance reception area and office and the heavy rain in the evening made the whole balcony area including the chairs wet and the water even seeped into the room from underneath the balcony doors.No measures are made in the balcony area so that we can actually enjoy the rain.We didn't get the privacy we were promised nor the view we expected,dunno if it was because of the ground floor location of our room. The hotel overall area is very small and feels congested and suffocating , especially if there are other large groups also in the same days of our booking . The photos in the site are not at all believable . The infinity pool view was wonderful.but that alone doesn't give a five star rating. The food was okay nothing too good or bad to mention about .The items were refilled as and when required. We would have been happier if the same stay was provided within a 2-3 k range.The main limiting feature is space. The staff are very friendly and responsive .They have maintained the premises clean and tidy .That's the only positive comment . You don't feel the luxury of staying in a resort with bathtub and a pool. We didn't get any premium valley view room as was promised when we booked

We had great time here. It was just wonderful. Everything starting from hospital, services , people was just wonderful. A special mention to one of your people named Shahadab he was very humble and helpful to us. Too many things to mention but everything was great. Had too much fun here. And the food was also too good .Thank you so much for providing such a great time.

Very disappointed with our stay at The Grasmere Resorts. They advertise this property as a villa, but in reality it feels more like a lodge with congested rooms. We booked all 4 rooms expecting a proper villa experience where families could stay together and spend time in a common area, but there was absolutely no proper common space. The rooms were separated and cramped, which completely spoiled the family vacation atmosphere. The biggest issue was the swimming pool. We specifically booked this property for around 19,000 mainly because of the pool facility. We reached the resort at around 1 PM and found the pool dirty and unusable. After repeatedly requesting and pressuring the staff, they only started cleaning it after 3 PM. Instead of properly cleaning it, they ended up draining and refilling the pool, and it was only ready the next morning around 10 AM just before our checkout at 11 AM. So we practically never got to use the pool we paid for. The staff kept giving false assurances like we will clean it now and it will be ready soon, but nothing was handled properly. There is no proper coordination or communication within the resort team, and contacting responsible staff was very difficult. After a lot of arguments and complaints, they only offered a small discount on dinner and breakfast, which was nowhere near enough compensation for ruining our holiday plans. I booked this resort through Goibibo, and the dispute is still ongoing. I will be requesting a full refund because this stay completely spoiled our family vacation. Would not recommend this property to families expecting a real villa experience.

We stayed in a sunrise view room at this property and had a truly wonderful experience. The staff were extremely supportive and attentive, making our stay even more comfortable. The food was deliciouswe had both dinner and breakfast, and everything was fresh and tasty. The ambience of the place is lovely, offering a calm and peaceful atmosphere that makes it perfect for a relaxing getaway. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and we would definitely recommend this property to others.
