Very fine design and execution of all the spaces here by someone who clearly knows what they are doing. The spaces are such that photography cannot do them justice. What you get is better than what you see. We had a deluxe room with balcony, high ceilings and luxurious bathtub. There is breakfast, which is varied, fresh and excellent, and a more restrained choice of veg or non-veg supper. Otherwise there is 24h snacks room service. No town within walking distance but the main highway is as ever distantly audible, as is the muezzin. Otherwise peace and quiet. We took a short walk option in the Periyar Reserve, which the ever-attentive and professional George arranged for us. Otherwise we walked far and wide locally among tea, pepper, cardamom and banana. To George and Bajo, and all the staff, thank you for your unfailing courtesy and friendliness. One tiny cloud: if there is to be a 7AM yoga class right next to the two most expensive rooms in Coffee and Pepper, could participants be reminded that there are some slothful souls still trying to sleep, and could noise be minimised? Thanks so much!

Beautiful homestay, elegantly furnished rooms, with a warm, comfortable vibe, run by the family that owns the 6 acre pepper and coffee plantation. We stayed in the best room which has an indoor pool. George was a wonderful host, and gave us a tour of the plantation, which has some unique species of trees and shrubs ( for eg the 'miracle' shrub which, when eaten sweetens the taste of sour items like lemons if consumed within 20 min) His mother cooks the meals - simple, home style Kerala cuisine which was delicious. I have only one recommendation - they should add more variety to the daily menu, especially vegetarian dishes. All in all a memorable stay.

It was a great stay at the Coffee and Pepper Plantation. The rooms were spacious and clean. They offered multiple breakfast options, and everything was well prepared. The hosts were very polite and understanding. Dont miss the property tour given by the host. Overall, it was a wonderful stay at an amazing property.

This has been the highlight of our Kerala tour. What a wonderful place! Wonderful, spacious rooms with an excellent shower and a spacious balcony overlooking the plantation. And what a plantation! George gave us a tour of this piece of paradise, and it was fascinating! Breakfasts are superb, with Kerala as well as western delicacies (George's mum cooks it all). The location is peaceful, relaxed and very private, yet it's only a short hope to Kumili and its abundance of restaurants (there are also a few places that are walking distance from the plantation, we did not try them). Periyar park is less than 15 minutes away. When staying in Tekkadi, look no further. Very highly recommended.
We would be more than happy to help you. Our team is 24/7 at your service to help you.
