0/5 Extremely Disappointing. Not Worth the Hype. We stayed at Vythiri Village and booked the Celebrity Villa with an indoor pool, expecting a premium experience based on the hype and reputation of the resort. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different. The resort creates a lot of hype and expectations, but once you actually stay there, there is very little to justify it. Basic amenities and basic guest services were not properly provided. We had to carry all our luggage by hand for almost 500 metres, along with our babies, because the resort did not arrange a buggy or provide proper assistance. When I informed the reception about this, instead of taking responsibility or helping us, they said, Your payment is already completed. That response says a lot about the attitude towards guests. It felt like the priority was business and payment, rather than guest satisfaction and hospitality. For the amount we paid and the expectations created by the resort, the actual experience was extremely disappointing. Too much hype, but very little substance. The reality is completely different from what is being promoted. Poor service Lack of basic amenities Poor guest assistance Very disappointing customer care Not worth the price I would never recommend this resort, especially for families with children.

Our stay at Vythiri Village Resort was nothing short of magical. The property is absolutely marvelous, perfectly blending luxury with the natural beauty of Wayanad's landscapes. From the moment we checked in, the service was excellent. Every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and eager to help. It truly felt like a luxury escape. If you're looking for a perfect getaway with top-notch hospitality and gorgeous views, this is the place to be. We can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay at Vythiri Village Resort. The resort offers a perfect blend of relaxation and activities amidst beautiful natural surroundings. There were plenty of activities to enjoy, including archery, cycling, cricket nets, swimming pools, and the artificial waterfall, which was a unique and refreshing experience. The spa was also excellent and helped us unwind completely. The food was delicious, with a great variety of options and consistently good quality throughout our stay. What truly made our experience special was the hospitality of the staff. Everyone was friendly, courteous, and always ready to help. A special mention to Avantika from the Front Office, who went above and beyond to assist us and ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. Overall, a fantastic experience and a great destination for families, couples, and anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Wayanad. Highly recommended!

Very nice experience and pleasant stay, we took the standard rooms and tried the spa services, place and service was good, Nawa massage and facial was average but overall good place. Minimum of 2 days is what I would recommend to explore the resort and it's related activities. Not heavy on the activities and better for chilling stay and explore nearby places, so people's preference based.

We recently spent 3 nights in this resort. We are club Mahindra members. Based on reviews and photos online, we made the booking and hoped for a good experience. I would overall give a rating of 2/5. Positives: 1) staff are very courteous and helpful 2) location is great, lush greenery all around, huge property and sounds of birds and nature fill your ears at all times 3) food quality and taste - good Negatives (there are many): 1) its a worn down place; the rooms are musty smelling, no balcony, no safety locker, toilet didnt have an exhaust and the bedding looked very old. Old time TV, most regional channels and very few English or Hindi channels. No kids channels. 2) being a resort in Wayanad , the room had Bru instant coffee! I expected better! Black coffee all three days was a huge disappointment at the buffet. 3) being a property with lush nature all around, they still provide shampoo and body wash in small disposable plastic bottles. Also juice cups and some cutlery are disposable paper and wood material. 4) wherever we asked for something in the menu, they didnt have it. And room service took 1 hour and ala carte order took 45 minutes. They said its because they make everything fresh. This was very difficult as we were travelling with a toddler 5) Spa was disappointing to say the least. It was a make shift area. No AC/window. Stuffy. No consent forms. No enquiry of medical conditions. No steam facility available. No post spa hot drink. There bathroom had hair in most areas. The masseuse was good though. 6) most areas of the resort are closed, looks worn down or is being renovated. Overall, 2/5 stars. Not worth the drive and the effort.
