This place is just a stay and nothing more. There are no viewpoints, trekking spots, or activities nearby. You are essentially paying only for accommodation. Breakfast is complimentary, while lunch and dinner are available only if pre-ordered and paid for separately. The food taste is average. The property is located in a small residential area, very close to local houses, so it doesnt really give a vacation or getaway feelingit feels more like staying at someones home. Even though this place is near to Munnar, the climate was hot even in December. Room hygiene was not up to the mark, as we noticed leftover food from previous guests in our room, which indicates that cleaning was not properly done. Overall, it is an average stay and could be improved in terms of cleanliness and overall experience.

I had a wonderful experience at Tulsi Retreat. The rooms were extremely clean and well-maintained, making the stay very comfortable. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and felt just like home. Located in a beautiful and peaceful place, it offered a perfect atmosphere for relaxation.

Worst Resort Experience Ever Not Worth the Hype or Price I stayed at Tulsi Village Retreat, Munnar, in the Cocoon Cabin (Lake View Room) for 4,0007,000 per night. The photos online were completely misleading. The bamboo cabin that looked new and polished in pictures was actually faded, chipped, and poorly maintained. The location offers a nice daytime view, but after sunset, the place becomes unbearable due to insects entering through huge gaps in the main door. The door design is terribleno proper handle, large gaps, and no way to lock it from outside. It feels unsafe and unhygienic. The interiors looked nice at first but were dusty, filled with cobwebs, and poorly cleaned. Lighting was another issuemany bulbs didnt work, and some were loosely hanging. Food tasted decent but had a very limited menu, fixed timings, and no coffee before 5 PM. Breakfast options were extremely poor. Overall: 1/5 Terrible stay. Poorly maintained, overpriced, and misleading in its advertising. Management seriously needs to fix cleanliness, pest control, door sealing, and food service.

Stayed here for two nights. The place is simple and peaceful. Staff helped us arrange food and gave local suggestions. Cleanliness was maintained well.
