Budget friendly. Inside town. Family can stay. Nearby Gurubhavan hotel is there. Road is steep. One need to go near tea County and come back to get into the house through car. Visited in Dec '17 and Dec' 22 as well.

This is a very cute homestay. We stayed here for 9 nights and enjoyed all the walks and hikes you can do in Munnar. The house and the rooms are very basic, but we felt very comfortable here. I think we had the smallest of 4 rooms. The mattress was comfortable. The house has a small common seating area and you can also sit on the porch with a nice view into a cute little garden and towards some hills/mountains. We don't have a car, but there is private parking available. You can hear some traffic in the distance, but it's located in a rather quiet part of Munnar.

Last week we stayed for 2 days Very comfortable room they maintain surroundings Very neat and clean my brother prefferd this cottage they provide tea coffee at morning and evening all time hot waters available for bathing and drinking room rent also in our budget friendly when compared to other hotels. They provide soap and shampoo kit also and that cottage owner chaechee take care like my mother she is very kind that cottage is very pleasant at morning view and near by gurubagawan hotel is there

The place is a good spot for large families looking for good tasty food, spacious seating and a good parking spots. Amenities Hot water (in the Bathroom) Outdoor seating (made of solid rock) Chairs are available to place and sit outside Small Garden Common area having 2 Diwan cots Room Types We took a double bedroom. Good enough for 2 people. Blankets, towels, soap etc are provided. There is a small sofa and a wall mounted fan. The building is made so that we wont feel too cold inside. There is another room which is even more spacious, the bathrooms are even modern which also comes for an affordable price for 3 people. Owner The owner is a lady, she is quite friendly and helpful. She let me borrow her phone charger when mine wasn't working. Parking Parking place is available infront of the house. Its a slope so vehicles with a good ground clearance will be alright. I will not recommend for large vehicles. When you are climbing to the driveway, never turn from there. Go up and then take a u turn to enter the driveway. That is safer. Accessibility Very close to shops and restaurants. Its just in the heart of the city. The road going here is a bit steep. Maybe 200meters. Pricing- Cheap/Highly Affordable The prices are very affordable considering the location and the amenities.
