The property was a great choice for our friends getaway, especially with kids as young as two years old. The children had a wonderful time in the pool and enjoyed the open space around the house to walk and play. The staff was very helpful. The property was well-suited for families, and we had a very pleasant and good stay overall.

We had a wonderful staycation here with our family! The property was spacious, clean, and perfect for a group staycation. The pool kept everyone entertained. Service was excellent throughout our stay, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely deliciouseveryone in the family enjoyed it. The location was also perfect, peaceful and ideal for a relaxing getaway. Overall, everythingfrom the service and food to the location and amenitieswas awesome. It was truly a memorable experience, and we would highly recommend this place for family get-togethers!

Our bikers team went to Humming trees. Its an asthetic place with modern amenities. We'll maintained rooms and pool. Excellent hospitality. Delicious home made foods made extra flavour to our trip. Will recommend to everyone.

We had an amazing get-together after a long time, and it turned out to be a truly memorable experience. Since it was Christmas, the property was beautifully decorated, which added a warm and festive charm throughout the place. Overall, we had a wonderful time, and special thanks to Ajith, he was extremely helpful, attentive, and took great care of us throughout our stay. We couldnt have asked for a better experience.

A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE NO TRAVEL LOVER SHOULD EVER HAVE TO GO THROUGH !!!! Had posted this review months back, but am reposting so that noone else goes through this terrible experience. Just remember one thing - ALL THEIR PHOTOS ARE HIGHLY MISLEADING. The property is nowhere as huge as shown in the photos. The pool is one fourth the size shown. All trees and bushes are overgrown, unkempt and look listless. The couple running this property are one of the most efficient fraudsters we have ever met. All the reviews posted here are by their acquaintances and relatives. Please check reviews by other tourists on Airbnb and agoda before booking this. We had booked the Humming Trees resort one week in advance, having gone through a few flattering reviews about the place. Sadly enough, our experience was a forgettable one ! They offered us their menu a week in advance, insisting that we pre order our meals so that they could prepare dishes to our preference. We were a group of 3 families located at various places. Can you imagine the trouble of coordinating among all 13 members to get their choices and finalise our menu !!!!! But we did it, for our sake as well as theirs. In fact we gave them our menu 2 days before. To our surprise, what we ordered was NOT what we got !! Neither for lunch, nor for dinner. And the Payasam was totally missing !! A Mr. Shinto was the one who has kept in touch with us throughout. Not only was he missing from the scene, he did not even bother to inform us beforehand that they had not been able to procure for us the home cooked meals they had guaranteed. So both times, we were treated to the kind of low quality food that they probably hastily arranged from a couple of local restaurants. For those of us looking forward to authentic Kottayam cuisine, this was a major let down. Their explanation that their chef was away on onam vacation was the lamest excuse we have ever heard ! Aren't chefs supposed to be on duty DURING vacations when it is the high season for tourists! For the complimentary breakfast, they had arranged exactly 13 eggs for the egg curry. There was no one to even refill our dishes. So each of us satisfied ourselves with just one egg. Same went for rice and other dishes. We kept adjusting the amount we took for fear of running out of food. There was no refilling there too. Mr Thomas, kindly give a hands on training to your caretakers. They simply were inept at dinner service. Arun, the caretaker who attended on us is actually a nice boy. We felt his inability to anticipate our needs was owing more to his lack of training than any laziness on his part. The disappointed kids !!!!! I'm not even going there. Add to that the lack of basic amenities that even the basest airbnbs offer you !! No toiletries, no thick blankets, no prompt service. We ran around sharing a toothpaste that we had fortunately brought from home, and 3 miniature Medimix soaps that they so kindly offered the 13 of us ! Three of us adults had to sleep(less) through the night using their onam kasavu mundu as a makeshift blanket. All the photos of this resort are highly misleading. The property is unkempt and not as spread out as the photos suggest. The house however was in perfect condition.......clean, aesthetically designed and comforting. This is just about the only positive we can think of. A strong word of advice to those of you planning a staycation here....THINK TWICE before you book this place. After all you do not want your vacation days spent worrying about where your next meal would be coming from, or what to use as a substitute blanket
