A Heartwarming Stay at Tea Dale, Munnar I recently concluded a wonderful 3-night stay at Tea Dale homestay in Munnar, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt less like "customers" and more like welcomed guests in a private home. The owner Kaniraj ji, is an exceptionally warm and welcoming host who goes out of his way to make you feel special. The food at Tea Dale is excellent. We had both breakfast and dinner daily, which was a huge convenience. The meals were delicious, fresh, and authentic. Having high-quality, nutritious meals served right at the resort is a significant plus point for elderly travelers who may not want to venture out late at night or search for restaurants. Kaniraj ji also took the stress out of local travel. He personally helped us book an auto-rickshaw for sightseeing at a very reasonable price. The driver he recommended was reliable, which allowed us to enjoy the stunning beauty of Munnar without worrying about overpaying or navigating unfamiliar roads. If you are looking for a peaceful stay with a personal touch, delicious food, and a host who truly cares, I highly recommend Tea Dale homestay. It is especially perfect for families and senior citizens.

Excellent hospitality by Mr. Kaniraj. The view from the room was awesome, and the property is located away from the hustle and bustle of Munnar market, offering a peaceful stay. We booked a budget room with a balcony. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the service was excellent. Tea Dale also has its own car, and one can privately book their package to explore Munnar if not already arranged. I would highly recommend Tea Dale for exploring Munnar.

Excellent homestay within 2 km of main Munnar city. Mr. Kaniraj was a very friendly and helpful host. Great tasting and healthy food serve by the Chef was served hot when we needed. They even went as far as packing vegetarian lunch for us for our trips. He also gave us great guidance on view points and avoiding traffic. Special thanks to Mr. Antony for taking care of all our needs during the stay. Loved the hospitality, view from the balcony and the homeliness of the stay. Would love to return here in the future.

Tea Dale homestay was super comfortable. Everyone there is genuinely warm and helpful. Rooms are clean, tidy and cozy. The tea garden view from balcony soothes you with birds chirping. Location is slightly off in a good way if you have your vehicle and don't want to stay in chaotic main area. Hospitality is amazing and they feed you amazing homestyle breakfast. Don't expect super resort style luxury but be assured the place doesn't lack anything.

We had a very comfortable experience at Tea Dale, the manager was very friendly and helpful. He had tips for locations to visit and helped us get tickets. Breakfast was different every day and we had most dinners here. Room was spacious with a beautiful view of the tea fields with lots of birds. We did nice walks from this place to see more birds. If it is windy the shower isnt always hot, but they also helped fix that. We could park our car in their driveway. They also have a small office with more tips for tours and activities.
