I stayed there with my friends and my experience was amazing. This place offers a calm peaceful environment full of activities to keep you engaged throughout your stay. There’s a family pool and a bigger pool for everyone to use and also a smaller Mickey pool for kids. I love the idea of family pool as it gives you privacy and let you enjoy at the same time. The staffs were really nice and helpful. The rooms are also great for the prices offering us an amazing view. The food was also amazing. It was tasty. There’s also zip line activities near by. As we were only girls traveling we were concerned about the safety aspects but they made us feel comfortable and safe throughout our stay. Overall me and my friends are very satisfied with our stay. The place is perfect for families, friends, couples and everyone.

This is a luxury hotel slightly away from Munnar. We loved our stay as a couple here. We were greeted with a tika and taken to our rooms in a buggy (small car). The rooms have great interior and the bathroom is also clean and posh. Breakfast quality is very high and you'll get a variety of veg options. Non veg options are limited in breakfast. We didn't use the pool. Room service is prompt and the entire staff is polite and humble. There's no need to tip anyone. It's all included in the package. The views from the room and restaurant are stunning. You can see mountains and trees. I highly recommend this place for couples and also family.

My family and I spent a wonderful vacation at Star Emirates Resort & Spa, Munnar. We got a spacious room which was pretty clean and well-maintained with comfortable beds. The staff were incredibly attentive and made us feel like VIPs throughout our stay. The balcony came with a spectacular view of the mountains. We simply fell in love with the place. It’s great for a family vacation because there’s something for everyone at this resort

Our experience at Star Emirates was absolutely terrible. While the restaurant food was decent and the location convenient, the room facilities were abysmal and not even close to what one expects from a so-called “big resort.” The water situation in the bathroom was a complete nightmare. The flow was inconsistent—strong for a couple of minutes before shutting off entirely for 5-6 minutes. Hot water? Only available the first time, and after that, nothing. This issue persisted despite constant complaints to the reception over two days. Their excuses kept changing—first it was a “hose issue,” then a “voltage issue”—but the truth is they lacked the competence to fix it. Not resolving a basic issue like water supply for the entire stay is unacceptable and disgraceful for any hotel, let alone one advertising itself as a high-end resort. The hotel is also a nightmare for families, especially international travelers with babies. We specifically requested a baby crib during booking, which they claimed to provide. Instead, they brought us a baby cradle. It was clear the staff didn’t even understand the difference. Advertising “free baby crib” on Booking.com and then failing to deliver on that promise is false advertising and highly misleading. Additionally, the hotel lacks other basic baby-friendly amenities, such as high chairs in the restaurant. This made our stay incredibly uncomfortable and stressful, particularly with an 11-month-old baby. The lack of urgency, expertise, and professionalism from the staff is shocking. They couldn’t resolve a critical issue like water supply even after two days of complaints. This level of incompetence is beyond frustrating and reflects poorly on the management. Frankly, this is one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed at, and we deeply regret choosing it. Avoid at all costs, especially if you’re traveling with a baby or expect even a minimum standard of service.

Star Emirates Hotel is an amazing place to stay! The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. The food is absolutely delicious, with so many options to choose from. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely clean, making the stay really comfortable. The whole environment feels fresh and well-maintained. Plus, there are so many activities to do, so you’ll never get bored. Overall, it’s a beautiful place with great service, and I’d definitely recommend it!
