We had an unpleasant stay at solitude. The photos posted dont show the exact ambience of the location. The place is not in an isolated location (which we thought it would be based on the photos). The house is well built but the third bedroom which is on the ground floor is not as good as the other two. But what made our stay troublesome was the service. The house was not cleaned for welcoming guests. The washrooms were not clean and we even found used alcohol bottles in one of the rooms. The owners(who are abroad) were very responsive though. When we complained they called the caretaker and tried to manage the situation as much as possible. We had to reduce our stay from two nights to one and the owners repaid us without any issues. Also the food was not up to the expectations. The caretaker basically buys from nearby restaurants and serves you. But quality of food was under par. We requested for a barbecue option and was later served charred chicken. The natural spring pool was a nice experience though. Clean water and well maintained.

We had an amazing stay at the treehouse in Solitude. The experience was truly peaceful and unique. Special thanks to Kalesh unclehe was incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made our stay even more special.

The property is quite misleading compared to the photos shown on Airbnb and Google. Only a small portion of the property matches the pictures; the overall experience is very different on arrival, especially if youve stayed in places like Idukki or Munnar before. Cleanliness was poor, with dampness in rooms, waterlogging near the ground floor, and dust everywhere. The bathroom heater and lights were not working, and there was an unpleasant smell from the bathroom. The blankets were dusty, causing discomfort throughout the night. Although the property is listed as having three bedrooms, the ground-floor room felt more like a den than a proper bedroom. While the view from the upper floors was decent, it did not match what was promised in the description. Service quality was disappointing, and basic necessities were lacking. Guests are advised to carry their own drinking water and food if they choose to stay here. If you are planning for a bachelors trip, these may not be a problem for you, but as a family you might feel disturbed.

We are truly grateful for the excellent stay at Viripara, which was made memorable by the warm hospitality and thoughtful arrangements provided by Mr. Kalesh and Sri Sasi Chettan. Special thanks to Mr. Kalesh for creating such a homely and comfortable atmosphere throughout our stay. His care and attention made us feel completely at ease, as if we were at home away from home. We would also like to sincerely thank Sri Sasi Chettan for arranging such an amazing stay and for organizing a memorable trekking experience. His efforts ensured that our visit was not only comfortable but also filled with adventure and joy.

A perfect place to relax and unwind! The resort offers beautiful surroundings, clean and comfortable rooms, excellent food, and very friendly staff We were well taken care of by Mr. Kalesh, who is in charge of guest services. He remained in contact with us during our stay and ensured our comfort at all times. The facilities make the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended.
