Great local skiing at a great price. Low traffic, easy/close parking, plenty of terrain for a beginner-learner, and for those experts there’s a couple runs that will keep you satisfied for the day. Do you get miles and miles of runs or pounding moguls and hundreds of people around you? Nope. And that’s what makes it great. Almost no wait lift lines, A couple mins on the lift, and plenty of space for you to ski down. Possible to get 6-8 runs an hour if you try hard. Great value. Oh and nice lodge, super convenient and well kept. Friendly staff!

We recently traveled from Texas to Snowy Range at the recommendation of friends. It was the perfect spot for our kids to learn to ski. Snow was great, ski lessons excellent and staff couldn’t have been friendlier. We couldn’t believe how impressed we were with everything and the price. We’ve skied at other popular spots in the past- This is now our favorite spot for the family. Simple setting, ( lacks the pretentious feel like some other popular resorts) with excellent customer service from the gift shop to ski patrol. Food available for purchase but we learned from others to pack a lunch. Many bring their own coolers. Highly recommend.

I had THE most fun day at snowy range!! But the best part of my day was genuinely the workers. I rented skis, and my rental tech named Sam was the nicest funniest guy. I’m really short so Sam taped my lift ticket on my helmet so it would scan at the lift ???? he made us laugh and recognized me and my boyfriend wherever we went for the rest of the day!! At one point though, my ticket fell off my helmet and I was told there was a pretty big fee to get another one. I explained my situation to some ladies at the snow sports desk and the sweetest girl named Ava got me another one without any issues. The mountain was beautiful, but workers Sam and Ava are the reason I will truly be returning again and again to snowy range. Thank you for your spectacular customer service, you made our day. -gal in the red snowsuit

We had a great time there. Everyone is super friendly, the lift are great for beginners and intermediate skiers. We did not go in black lines but it looked pretty challenging.

Favorite place to ski in all of the Rockies. Leave the crowds in CO, and drive up to Snowy Range!! Excellent hometown feel and service. Great greens and blues! Lovely lodge that isn’t too big or overpriced. Won’t find this with your Epic Pass! This ski area is good for families, friends, newbies and the more advanced athlete as well. Ski and snowboard school is valuable and a great place to learn.
