Excellent rooms, delicious food, good hospitality. Really enjoyed with our family. Fire camp arrangements, BBQ chicken are very good. Excellent for family staying. I recommend this place for who wants relax with their family. Nice staffs really co operative. Super chefs to give foods as our required

We stayed at Royal Pepper Cottage, Yercaud in February 2026 for one night. The room was small but comfortable, very neat and clean. The bathroom was also very clean and had geyser facilities. This place has a peaceful environment. The room rent is very affordable. We had breakfast. It was very tasty. The staff provided prompt service and were very polite and helpful. Botanical Garden, Yercaud Lake, Park (inside the Lake), and Anna Park are located nearby. If you want to visit these places on your own you can go on foot. Half a day is enough to explore. It is located near the HP Petrol Pump bus stand. Just 3-4 minute walk from the petrol pump. I would highly recommend Royal Black Pepper Cottage to friends and family.

Im coming here for third year running. During off season in November. I stay in Room 201 because of: huge windows and glass door, great view, plenty of bench space, really solid carved wooden chairs, electric kettle for hot tea, spacious room layout with balcony, and every morning at 6 am a Malabar Whistling Thrush comes and sings outside the room. Really, three years running! More generally, the bed is very comfortable and sheets and pillow covers fresh and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is getting old, so some of the veneer is peeling off the furniture. But for me this is a very minor issue.

Good location. About 10 min walk to the lake. It's located on a private road, so it is very silent in the nights. Parking is on the same road in front of the building but seems quite safe. You can hear lots of birds in the day time. The staff is very courteous and friendly. Toileteries were provided. The only drawback is that despite being very clean, the bathroom had a damp smell in the ground floor room. There was also a frog and a snail in the bathroom in the night, so not sure what else could come inside.

Just one word, PERFECT!!! Suitable for. Eceryone. Couples, Family and more. SRRVICE IS FIRST CLASS!! They even have private camp fire and barbecue facilities. Seperate villa's and rooms are available. Must visit place for your comfort zone and expectations.
