Recently, we visited River Valley Huts in Wayanad for the Onam celebrations, and it was an experience to remember. The resort offers a unique blend of nature and comfort, with the rooms resembling premium wooden huts, crafted entirely from wood, from roof to floor. The combination of the riverside breeze and the subtle scent of wood inside the rooms created a truly calming atmosphere. When we dimmed the lights, the ambience transformed into something even more serene. The resort also features a well-maintained swimming pool, complete with a dedicated children's pool, making it ideal for families. The bathrooms and amenities, including the pool, were clean and well-kept, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. For anyone looking for a nature-synced retreat in Wayanad, this resort is a perfect choice. Special mention to the owner, Ramesh, who was incredibly helpful, offering guidance and meeting all our extra needs. The rooms are good. The place is secluded.. food is a disaster... no zomato/swiggy will be available... the dinner will be delivered by the vendor, which has limited options and horrible taste..
