We had a really grest time at the River Rock homestay. The room is clean, very good mettres, spacious, and the view from the balcony that belongs to the room and window are amazing, only wilderness. Looking into the forest. In the morning the birds are waking you without any disturbing traffic noises. Had a sofa too sit on, chair an table in the room. Breakfeast is included and delicious. And the best is that our Hosts were so nice and helpful in every way. Were to go, buses, Scooty, Riksha. They know everything and made the calls to arrange everything for us. Couldn't be better. Many, many thanks! Hope to see you again!

Peaceful, beautiful location. Superb Mountain Views and a river right under the property- of course. Friendly caring hosts. Good distance from the craziness of Munnar to escape to. Not much nearby so bring what you need or ask the lovely hosts for what you need. Good size rooms. You can forgive the dated decor. Clean. Comfortable.

Someone organised this for us. I think if we had looked at accomodation ourself we could have found better. We were very isolated with nothing to do and no dinner available. Breakfast only available from 8 am so we missed one day as we left earlier. Second day had breakfast was ok. Had to ask for extra blanket it was so cold, was still cold slept in jumper and my day pants. Which then smelt. Shower was cold. What ever animal was in the roof kept me awake at night

Wow! Just a serene beautiful place tucked away by the river. A very Lovely host who helped us start a campfire and supplied wood. Comfy beds and a lovely vibe

River Rock Homestay gives a lovely vintage experience, close to nature with a calm river view at the back where you can relax and spend time. The house has a traditional charm, and the complimentary breakfast was nice. The owner, Mr. Varghese, is very good and extremely supportive he guided us for sightseeing and arranged autos, cars, or jeeps whenever needed. A perfect homely stay for nature lovers!
