The rooms are big, well designed and very clean. Some of them have view to the river- an amazing view! Its just a minute’s walk from the beautiful river, and it’s really nice to go inside. There’s a good (and cheap) local restaurant 5 minutes walk from there. The owners are super nice! We had a really good time here, thank you!

Best place in Munnar. The owner is so kind and helping, they really care about you, he even got up at 4 AM to help me catch a bus. The rooms are so clean and beautiful, some of them with amazing river view from the balcony. The river is a minute walk away and has so many beautiful hidden spots, and its so clean without trash in the water. Stay here you will not regret!

Excellent host, excellent facilities. The owner is very friendly. The location is a bit far from Munnar, but that's a blessing in disguise. Nestled among lush greenery, this cottage is built on a rock, hence the name . Clean room with balcony, neat bathrooms, nice view. If you like a peaceful night, coupled with the pleasant weather, and the friendly owner, this is the place for you.

One of the best home stays in Munnar. Ambience and breakfast are too good. Both uncle and aunty are really friendly. And the best part is access to a private waterfall and as uncle is a farmer, you will get a free spice plant visit. Much book and affordable too. Thank me later!

Our stay at River Rock was truly unforgettable. The host, varghese chettan was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the river . The homemade meals were delicious and plentiful. We especially enjoyed the time in the river just back to homestay. We highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic experience."
