The surroundings are incredibly tranquil, making it an ideal destination for anyone seeking peace, relaxation, and a deeper connection with nature. What truly sets Riviera Inn apart is the exceptionally warm and homely hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like part of a family rather than guests. The hosts were attentive, caring, and always ready to help, while still giving us complete privacy. They catered to every genuine request be it arranging for jungle or elephant spotting tours or organizing a barbeque in the night or arranging for music. Their genuine warmth and personal touch made the experience very special. The food deserves a special mentionsimple, authentic, home-style Kerala cuisine, prepared with care and love. Every meal felt comforting and wholesome, adding greatly to the overall experience. If you are looking for a nature-centric, calm, and soulful stay with heartfelt service, Riviera Inn in Mankulam is a GEM. I had a truly memorable stay at this resort. The property is beautifully maintained, with lush surroundings that create a peaceful atmosphere. The staff, especially Albin, were exceptionally warm and attentive, making sure every detail was taken care of. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped, offering both comfort and luxury. I especially enjoyed the dining experiencethe food was fresh, flavourful. The amenities like the pool added to the relaxation, and the overall vibe was perfect for unwinding. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a blend of comfort, hospitality.

I visited Rivera Inn, Mankulam on 14th February with my friends, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The staff were not at all helpful or proactive. There was a clear lack of hospitality and coordination. We were particularly looking forward to activities, but there were none available at the resort. When Jeep Trekking was not recommended by them, no alternate options or arrangements were suggested. It felt like there was no effort made to ensure guests had an enjoyable experience. Apart from lunch and tea, there was absolutely nothing to do at the resort. For a place that markets itself as a getaway destination, the absence of activities and engagement was very disappointing. Overall, it did not meet our expectations, and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone looking for an enjoyable or activity-filled stay.

Our stay at Rivera Inn Resort Mankulam, near Munnar, was an absolute nightmare. We had dinner at the resort - chicken snacks, mushroom snacks, and chicken biryani - and by next morning, all five of us suffered severe food poisoning. The entire day was ruined because everyone was vomiting and unwell. To make things worse, the rooms were dirty, full of insects and mosquitoes, and the bedding looked unchanged. There was almost no hot water, and even after multiple requests, the bucket of water they gave was cold. The towels were lowquality, and threads literally stuck to the skin. At checkout, the manager behaved very rudely, even threatened us saying we couldnt step out until we paid, despite us being ready to settle the bill. The booking agent, Goodway Babu, overcharged us by 12,000 for this horrible experience. The only saving grace was two staff members, Albin and his colleague, who genuinely tried to help us. Otherwise, our yearend vacation turned into a disaster. Avoid this resort completely unsafe food, poor hygiene, and unprofessional management.
