This is a decent, basic place to stay. The room and bathroom were clean, which was appreciated. However, there were several notable drawbacks: the blanket was not clean, and there were no dustbins in the room or the adjacent seating area. The biggest inconvenience was the checkin process. As the host does not live on site and there is no staffed reception, I had to call and wait outside for 30 minutes to be let in. Potential guests should be prepared for this delay.

Located so close to kalpetta, this spot was perfect for our stay. They were very accommodating to our needs, the place was clean and inviting. The hosts were very helpful. Definitely recommend! Good price, good location, great stay.

i went here with my friend during the easter holidays, the hosts were excellent and extremely accommodating. our train was quite early but the host let us check in 6 hours before. the only issues we had were with the occasional insects that creeped in. the door frame was not as airtight as it could have been, and the window netting was broken so opening the window to let cool in wasnt an option. moreover, this is more of a general thing and specifics for me, but if you generally feel more hotter than the average person staying at a non ac isnt an option. The hosts were very accommodating as they let us upgrade to an ac room for a reasonable increase in the rate. the ac rooms were even better and felt like a hotel washroom, and with it being located inside an Ayurvedic hospital the environment was also very peaceful. the only issue i had with the ac room was the washroom, in which the basin was very oddly placed and hard to work with. and also, the bedsheets and blankets of both rooms were very itchy for someone with sensitive skin, more because of the material than any pests biting. even then, the caretaker was extremely helpful and was supportive for a lot of issues we faced. i highly recommend this flat, and i also recommend booking directly with the owner rather than on any site as often the prices are lower when taking direct.
