This place is not really worth a dedicated visit and can be skipped if youre short on time. Its a small area with a few flowers and roses on display, but nothing particularly special or unique to justify a stopover. There are better spots along the way that offer a more memorable experience.

Visiting the Munnar Rose Garden, situated on MunnarAluva Road at Rosenagar, was truly like stepping into a dream sequence where vibrant flowers seem to merge gently with the green horizons of the surrounding mountains. Spread across terraced slopes, the garden is beautifully laid out and meticulously maintained. Thousands of varieties of roses in different shades and sizes bloom here, creating a riot of colours that instantly lift the spirit. Apart from roses, the garden also houses a variety of flowering plants, rare species, medicinal herbs, fruit trees, and ornamental plants making it much more than just a rose garden. The neatly paved pathways allow visitors to stroll comfortably while enjoying panoramic views of the mist-kissed Munnar hills in the background. The elevated points offer excellent photo opportunities, especially on a clear day when the flowers contrast magnificently with the lush greenery of the Western Ghats. The garden remains open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. The entry fee is 60 per adult and 30 for children, which is quite reasonable for the experience offered. However, during peak tourist hours and holiday seasons, parking can be a bit difficult due to limited space, so it is advisable to plan accordingly. A peaceful, colourful retreat for nature lovers, photographers and families alike. If you are in Munnar, this garden certainly deserves a place in your itinerary.
