I was travelling with my family and we had a wonderful stay at Scevas Garden Home. Right from the time of booking, Benny stayed in touch and checked if we needed any assistance during our travel. Through him, we were also able to book a very comfortable houseboat experience in Alleppey, which added so much value to our trip. There was a hartal on the day we arrived, and although we reached earlier than the scheduled checkin time, Benny made sure our rooms were prepared quickly. He also gave us a very informative overview of all the things to do in the area, which helped us plan our time well. The homestay is located on a hill, offering stunning views of the mountains right in front of the property. The wooden rooms were exceptionalcozy, clean, and beautifully maintained. Because most restaurants were closed due to the hartal, Benny and his family generously served us a complimentary dinner, which was both thoughtful and delicious. The breakfast included with the stay was also very tasty and prepared with great care, making our mornings feel warm and homely. Benny arranged a reliable taxi service as well, which made it easy for us to explore the major attractions nearby. One of the highlights of our stay was the fruit and vegetable garden that Benny and his family maintain with great dedication. We were served some of these fresh ingredients during our meals, which made the experience feel even more personal. Throughout our stay, Benny and his family made us feel like we were visiting relatives rather than staying at a homestay. The location is peaceful, scenic, and perfect for anyone looking to relax while enjoying beautiful mountain views. Overall, it was a truly memorable stay, and I would highly recommend Scevas Garden Home to anyone visiting the area.

A Slice of Paradise in the Munnar Hills! Great place that feels less like a hotel and more like a warm, welcoming home, Sceva's Garden Home is an absolute gem. Our stay here was the highlight of our trip to Munnar. The rooms are exceptionally well-maintained, spacious, and spotlessly clean. We stayed here thrice as it has a beautiful rustic charm and a large private balcony. Waking up to the panoramic views of the mist-covered mountains and the lush valley right from our bed was a magical experience. The local cuisine here is outstanding! The hostess is a fantastic cook. We were treated to authentic Kerala breakfasts and dinners made with fresh, organic ingredients picked straight from their own garden. Every meal was a delicious discovery of local spices and flavorsdon't miss the traditional Kerala specialties! The Hospitality: What truly sets this place apart is the host, Benny, and his wonderful family. Benny is a fabulous host who goes above and beyond to ensure his guests are comfortable. From giving us a tour of their beautiful organic garden to providing expert tips on hidden local gems and sightseeing, his passion for hospitality is evident. The family (including little Sceva!) makes you feel like a part of their home from the moment you arrive.

A beautiful garden oasis just outside of the busy Munnar area! Benny is an exceptional host, who will assist in not only arranging all of your activities, but help you decide how best to spend your time according to your interests. He will go out of his way to ensure that your time and money are well spent. We stayed in one of the large king bed rooms - the room was incredibly comfortable, quiet and spotless. Not to mention the balcony and large windows that overlook a beautiful garden and mountain vista. Scevas Garden is just that - a bountiful garden - virtually every tree, bush or plant bears a fruit or vegetable, spice or herb. Benny is happy to spend time showing you around - he is a wealth of information about all things botanical! The Keralan breakfasts prepared by his wife were the best of our extensive trip. The property is about an hour, give or take, from Munnar itself. Some may find the distance a little long, but the drive is beautiful, and for those seeking some tranquility, this is a lovely place to find yourself.

Highly recommended. This place is not near the centre of Munnar but in my opinion so much nicer to stay here in a quiet tranquil location with a local family for the home stay experience. Benny can easily arrange transport into Munnar for you. We did all of the tours and activities he recommended and we had a busy and full week staying there. The food that Bennys wife cooked for us was some of the best food I have had during my trip around Kerala.

Sceva has been my family's go-to spot for Munnar vacations when we take our pets there. The host and his family are extremely warm, welcoming and kind. The entire property is very well maintained, neat and clean. The bathroom is massive and even that has a good view! They generally don't provide meals apart from breakfast but on one of the nights he offered us dinner and the food was fantastic. I must point out that throughout our stay, the host, his wife and daughter were extremely kind and accommodative, even waking up at 5:30am to make coffee for us on the day we left. Lovely place which made us feel like we're at home.
