We had a wonderful stay at this homestay run by the owner and family. The place was very clean, comfortable, and extremely peaceful, with a beautiful mountain view and a nature-friendly ambience , perfect for anyone looking to relax and enjoy a calm atmosphere. The breakfast and snacks were delicious, especially the authentic homemade dishes prepared using ingredients from their own garden. The location is also very convenient, being situated near the main highway, making it easy to find and access. The owner gave us useful suggestions during the stay. Their warm hospitality combined with professionalism created a very personal and welcoming experience. We would definitely love to visit again.

Our stay at mistletoe was a true highlight of our trip and our favourite place we have stayed in India! Joe and his family made us feel so welcome and at home - his son Nirmal showed us around their gardens and taught us so much about the fruits vegetables and spices they grow. The property is in a gorgeous location with great views and a short walk to a river. Another highlight were the meals we had - the breakfasts and dinners were healthy and delicious with lots of home grown fruits and vegetables. A peaceful and nourishing stay - we highly recommend! Thank you so much again to Joe and his family for a wonderful time.

Our overall experience at this resort was disappointing, especially considering the high price charged. The room tariff did not match the quality of service or maintenance provided. One of the major issues was a dysfunctional toilet on the first day of our stay. Although the problem was eventually resolved the next day, such a basic facility should have been checked and ensured to be fully functional before guest check-in. The inconvenience caused could have been easily avoided. What further added to the dissatisfaction was the owners response. Instead of acknowledging the inconvenience and offering a reasonable discount or compensation, the issue was justified, which reflected a lack of concern for guest comfort. Apart from this, the property overall does not justify its pricing. For a similar or even lower budget, much better and more conveniently located accommodations are available closer to Munnar. The only positive aspect of the stay was the breakfast, which was decent and well-prepared. Other than that, the resort did not meet expectations and requires significant improvement in maintenance, pricing, and customer handling.

Joe's Misteltoe is a very nice place with a beautiful view. Joe organises cooking workshops and guides you through his backyard. The backyard is actually a large forest on the hill behind his hotel. In this forest he farms his own spices, fruits and vegetables. It's wonderful!

Great place to stay if you want a calm and serene environment away from the bustling city. Fabulous hospitality and care by the hosts (the entire family )! Look forward to coming back again. For those looking to visit places around Munnar city, this might be a bit far (45 mins by car). Such delicious food prepared by the hosts themselves
