we spent a night in this delightful homestay, the very lovely room with a river view allows you to relax watching the placid flow of the river from an elevated patio. the welcoming was excellent from the family that includes two fantastic girls with whom we also played uno in joy! We had dinner with the fantastic cuisine of the landlady who satisfied our vegetarian requests. really a beautiful experience, I highly recommend for the warm welcome, order and cleanliness of the rooms! we hope to return one day!

We stayed two nights in this amazing homestay while travelling around South India. It exceeded all our expectations. It's a fantastic place, spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. The room was very comfortable, and the terrace was the perfect place to sit and watch sunset. Divya and her husband were superb hosts, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. It feels like you're welcomed into their home and become part of their family while you're there. Their two daughters were delightful company and all the staff were excellent too. I would highly recommend this homestay ????

Divya is a wonderful host and the food here was some of the best I’ve had in Kerala. Divya and her husband helped me with tours which are difficult in this area if you’re travelling alone. The rooms are very good and clean and it’s nice to sit on the terrace watching the river.

It is a beautiful Homestay in a great location. Room was neat and clean. It was cozy and comfortable. Mango kerala homes have their own 2bedroom house boat in the name of Meenakshi, shikara boat for rides and kayaking ones. We took 2hours morning ride in their Shikara boat to backwaters, it was so refreshing. Homestay owner Dileep took us for the ride, he ensured we get the best experience - Sunrise view, birds, water lilies and he took us to the fishing area in Vembanad lake where we saw villagers taking out fishing nets with net full of fishes, which was a memorable one for our 3year old kid. Seeing flock of ducks in the water was enjoyable. Thanks to your hospitality Divya! - who is very friendly and runs the homestay. Food was delicious, Divya prepares the homely food herself giving the authentic kerala taste. Our kid had a great time playing with homestay owner’s kids, they made us feel as if we were at our own home. Kumarakom’s Night sky was so dark with bright stars due to less light pollution, good for star gazing. KTDC Bird Sanctuary is close by. One can even visit KTDC Waterscapes for lunch to get the great view of Vembanad lake.

Amazing stay at Mango Kerala homes. Divya is an excellent host, providing lots of different activities such as kayaking and organising boat tours. The home-cooked food was delicious and the house was really comfortable. We really enjoyed spending time with the family and would highly recommend this home stay if you want to relax in the backwaters of Kerala in an authentic and affordable way!
