Staying at Mango Kerala Homes felt like discovering a quiet corner of paradise in Kumarakom. From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel genuinely welcome, creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to slow down and unwind. The rooms are bright, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. Each balcony is a perfect little retreat, ideal for sitting with a coffee and watching life drift by on the water. Practical details are well thought out too, with reliable WiFi, plenty of drinking water available, and complimentary bicycles that make exploring the nearby canals and rice fields a real pleasure. Food here is another highlight. Both breakfast and dinner were generous, delicious, and beautifully prepared. Meals are shared with other guests if you wish, which adds a warm, sociable feel and often leads to lovely conversations around the table. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the early morning boat trip. Heading out at sunrise with the host, gliding through the backwaters while he points out the local birdlife, was an unforgettable experience and easily one of the highlights of our entire trip. Mango Kerala Homes offers far more than just a place to sleep. Its an experience in itself, and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting the area

We stayed for three nights at Mango Kerala Homes and loved it. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The family is incredibly kind and welcoming, always happy to chat, help arrange activities, and give great advice on what to do in the area. The highlight was the homemade foodI absolutely recommend staying for dinner. We also highly recommend joining the local tours they arrange, as they are a great way to support the community. Combined with the warm atmosphere and stunning balcony views that are perfect for relaxing in the evening, there is nothing negative to say. Highly recommended.

We had the best time here!! Divya and Dileep are the kindest hosts, they go over and above to make sure you are comfortable and having so much fun. We loved meeting their daughters - Kattu is so so cute and Meenakshi is so welcome and sweet. The sunrise boat tour was one of the highlights of our trip, if not our lives!! The river views from the balcony were jaw droppingly beautiful and the breakfasts and dinners were stunning and delicious. This family is truly beautiful and getting to stay with them was a privilege. The home is gorgeous with granite floors. We loved kayaking too! Everything was wonderful. Highly recommended!! Felt authentic, warm, kind, generous, fun, and joyful.

We had a wonderful stay at this homestay and couldnt be happier with our experience. The place was spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, which made our stay very relaxing. We were pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade that included a beautiful water view. The host was the kindest and most helpful person you could imaginealways smiling and ready to help with anything. The food was absolutely delicious, and whether we wanted it or not, she kept kindly offering us coffee and tea, making us feel truly at home. As an extra bonus, a boat for canal tours departed directly from in front of the house, which made exploring the area incredibly convenient. Even though the bird sanctuary is currently closed, we still saw a great variety of birds during our boat cruise.

We stayed at Mango Homes for two days, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and pleasant . The rooms were extremely neat, clean, and well maintained. One of the highlights of our stay was the sunset boat ride arranged from the propertyit was absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared, adding to the overall comfort of the stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and pleasant stay.
