I had a very disappointing experience during my stay. The room door lock stopped opening, which was clearly a maintenance issue. When I informed the staff, they attempted multiple times to open it themselves. After their attempts, they claimed the lock was damaged and insisted that it needed to be replaced and then charged me for the replacement cost, even though I did not damage it. No proper explanation or proof was provided. Charging a guest for a malfunctioning lock that staff handled themselves is unfair and unprofessional. This experience completely ruined my stay. I would advise future guests to be cautious and clarify responsibility before accepting any charges.

Poor Customer Service and Unclean Rooms My experience at Lumino High Range Hotel, Munnar was very disappointing. The room was dirty and not properly cleaned, with poor maintenance that does not match the price or the high-range claim of this hotel. The customer service was extremely poor. The staff were rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional, and they showed no interest in resolving concerns or making guests feel comfortable. Basic hospitality and courtesy were completely missing. Overall, this hotel fails in the most important areas: cleanliness and guest service. I would not recommend this property to anyone visiting Munnar. There are many better hotels in the area that offer cleaner rooms and respectful service.

Great value for money. Service was prompt and staff always ready to assist. The room was clean and tidy, with good housekeeping. Facilities like WiFi, room service and parking were helpful. Its also very convenient to public transport and town centre we enjoyed our stay without worries.

One of the worst hotel experiences Ive ever had. The room we stayed in had no hot water. Even after informing the staff, we were told to switch on the heater and wait 5 minutes. I waited nearly 2 hours, but there was still no hot wateronly slightly warm water. On top of that, we paid 6,000 per day due to seasonal demand, which was completely unjustified for the quality and service provided. The worst part was that there were two rats in the hotel, which did not let us sleep the entire night. I complained to the management on the first day, but even on the second day the issue was not resolved. When I asked why no action was taken, the staff denied the presence of rats. I then showed them a video I had recorded on the second night as proof. Overall, this was a terrible experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very Disappointing Experience Poor Service & Unhygienic Rooms My stay at Lumino High Range Hotel, Munnar was extremely disappointing and stressful. The room was dirty and poorly maintained, which is unacceptable for a hotel that claims to be high-range. The worst part was the lock issue. The room lock got damaged and we were locked inside the room. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the staff broke the lock to open the door and later charged us for the cost of the lock, even though it was clearly not our fault. On top of that, the staff behavior was very rude and unprofessional. There was no empathy, no apology, and no attempt to resolve the issue politely. The way guests were spoken to was disrespectful and shocking. Overall, this hotel offers bad customer service, poor cleanliness, and zero accountability. I would not recommend this place to anyone visiting Munnar, especially families. There are much better options available with cleaner rooms and respectful staff.
