Our experience at Lavender Resort was extremely disappointing. The resort premises look beautiful from the outside, but unfortunately, the actual stay did not match the appearance at all. The cleanliness of the room was one of the biggest issues. When we simply moved the table near the TV, we found a lot of dust and waste underneath it, which clearly showed that the area had not been cleaned properly. The bed sheets also did not seem to be properly washed or maintained. During the night, my husband developed severe itching and discomfort, and we had to wake up around 3 a.m. and approach the hotel for fresh bed sheets. We felt that the poor cleanliness of the bedding could have been the reason for the itching, and the overall condition made us seriously concerned about hygiene. Basic amenities were also lacking. They did not properly provide basic things like toothbrushes and toothpaste, which we expected from a resort of this type. The food and service were another major disappointment. The staff did not properly communicate with us or even check with us in a timely manner about our dinner preferences. Overall, the service was very poor. Interestingly, when it was time for us to leave the next day, they were very prompt in calling us and asking us to vacate, but during our actual stay, getting proper assistance was difficult. Privacy was also a major concern. Since the accommodation is designed like a cottage, we expected at least some privacy. However, other rooms were placed very close and adjacent to ours, with people staying right next to us. The rooms could have been arranged in a way that provided guests with more privacy and a better experience. Overall, the resort may look attractive and well-maintained from the outside, but the room cleanliness, hygiene, basic amenities, food, service, and privacy were all disappointing. We expected much better for the price we paid. The management seriously needs to improve the cleanliness and quality of service before this place can provide guests with a comfortable stay.

Good! They have 4 and 5 bedroom appartment kind two stays and some 3-4 cottages also, if you are planning for a group visit this is okay! 5 bedroom appartment is spacious you can easily accommodate 15 people in one appartment. Breakfast is also included in this stay.

I have mixed reviews of this place. The location is exquisite - amidst greenery and tea plantations. A little far from the main town, but that's pretty much the point on a vacation. So, no issues there. The property by itself is also pretty decent. However, the rooms and maintenance is an utter disappointment. The sheet between the mattress and the bedsheet was infested with fungal dots. The rooms were damp and moist. One evening, we heard a very random animal run across the roof on the inside. On asking the caretaker if there were absolutely any kind of animals (wild or otherwise) on the property that we should be aware of, they said they had no idea But three of us heard that sound, so we know we weren't dreaming. The kitchen also doesn't offer a lot of food. The menu looks pretty decent but they only have 3-4 items available, and the same ones each time. Once is understandable, but we were there for at least 3 meals, and each time the same thing. For the price we paid, it definitely wasn't the best experience. Especially when it came to the hygiene of the place. One of the balconies was also infested with insects. So, overall, wouldn't fully recommend this place, unless either they set their prices according to the maintenance of the property, or maintain the property according to the prices they've set.

Facilities, food, cleanliness every other thing was pathetic..very old and damaged building ..very poor maintenance.. especially the bathroom was the worst..side walls of bathroom had lots of dirt and strains..No hot water facility even after many complaints they did not take any steps to get hot water, the kitchen had poor hygiene .. though they had a kitchen we did not prefer to eat there after seeing lots of utensils lying outdoor and dog was staying there. Stayed here for one night with our cousins (family group of 6). The location is beautiful with scenic tea plantation and hill views. Rooms and bathrooms were neat and clean, and the common pool was very well-maintained. The pre-ordered food was tasty, though options were limited due to the ongoing cooking gas shortage. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Johnson chettan. Overall, a comfortable and relaxing stay. Recommended for families and small groups.
