A Wonderful Homestay Experience My stay at The Kenstar was nothing short of exceptional. From the warm welcome by the hosts to the cozy and inviting atmosphere, every aspect exceeded my expectations.The accommodations were comfortable and meticulously clean, providing a peaceful retreat after a long day of exploring the area. The attention to detail was evident in every corner of the homestay, from the good decorated rooms to the thoughtful amenities provided. Moreover, the hosts went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed during my stay. their hospitality truly made me feel like a welcomed guest. If you're looking for a memorable and authentic experience during your travels, look no further than this fantastic homestay.

Location is average, but service were very worst, rooms were not clean bed spreads & pillows are covered by fungal stains, stay was really horrible, if you call the owner for drinking water ???? ???? he will switch off the phone and u will be left alone in the middle of the forest. If eager to feel an horrible stay u can definitely ???? book here, u can stay in unwashed dirty beds & towels they provide will be ultimately dirty since because have a policy of washing it once in year i think ???? ????...... & So on to enjoy the day there. Please don't hesitate to book your stay if u love my review ????...

A home is not only made up of walls and windows but the people who live there and take care of it..I didn't understand why the people post a bad reviews, i think this new management, The ken star homestay Nestled in the heart of munnar, this beautiful homestay welcomes you as if you are one of their own. Victorian interiors, warmth and a beautiful garden is what you can look forward to when you stay here. The house is well furnished while keeping in mind the tiniest of details to make your stay comfortable. But it's just not the house that makes you visit memorable.I stayed for a week, but made friends for a lifetime. The fun and chaos that I have had here, For all you solo, couple and group travellers, looking for a homestay, I would highly recommend this homestay. Great food, good ambience and gorgeous host. I have returned from their homestay with warmth, love and amazing friendship I hope to see you guys...

This homestay is a big spam. Worst experience I have ever had.  it was very difficult to find the place first of all. The owner (SYAM THOMAS) we had been trying to contacting the whole time, he wasn't  taking our call. Somehow we reached the homestay about 8.00pm asking help to local people. We were waiting for him more than half & hour. He was DRUNK when he reached us from the upstairs, with his friend. He forced to pay first whole amount before letting us in. His room servant opened the main door. We got the room as it is without cleaning. Room was dirty, smelling, room walls were wet and smelling. In the room there were just one small bulb. Bed wasn't prepared, pillow covere was torn and without washed. Bed cover was dirty. We asked to change bed cover and pillow cover on phone call to the owner on first call conversation. We called him again after 15 minutes or so, we found his cell phone was switched off. We called room servant to change pillow cover and asked for towels. He came up with wet and dirty towel. Wash room was dirty and the door of the washroom was fully covered with the fungus. The owner was hiding himself and ignored us. When we caught him, he was drinking with his friends on upstairs room. We tried to ask him refund and He became aggressive & started to abused us and came to hit us when he saw us in his room. We called to Police and they tried to help us but it didn't worked as they asked us proper address and we weren't able to explain the proper address because of lacking of the language problem & located on difficult place. Never ever recommend this homestay to any one.

This homestay is actually a spam..honestly.. We booked this homestay a day before(paid 8000/- in advance) and already contacted the owner(exact number given in the profile). He told us that he will arrange another staff instead of him and that person will help us to access into our rooms. We reached this place which is exactly shown in the map, and asked the receptionist about our booking. When we came they have already accomodated other people and told us to come to another home stay which looks exactly like a lodge and don't even have a name. The rooms we booked was 2× deluxe with extra beds. The person we have been contacting the whole time is not taking our calls now.... If you guys are coming to munnar, try to book resorts rather than homestays (Especially girl groups) The whole premises even looks terrible
