Our stay atJohnsons homestay was truly unforgettable. We were a family of three and had booked a double room with balcony for 2 nights. The room was very spacious and exceptionally clean. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality that it truly felt like a home away from home. The hostMr.Johnson, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, evengiving local directions and helping plan our itenary. Breakfast was a culinary delight, prepared with love and showcasing local flavors. Its rare to find such high-quality service with such a personal, cozy touch. For a perfect blend of rustic charm and exceptional care, this is the place to be! Highly recommended!".

The homestay is located not far away from the railway station. The beach is within walking distance and perfect for watching the sunset. Even though there is no restaurant in the surrounding area, one can find certain shops to buy basic food and drinks. The check-in was quick and easy. Our room was spacious, clean and well maintained. It had reliable wifi with a good internet connection. We enjoyed the welcome and morning tea which was provided by the lovely family. Johnson was very kind and helpful. Apart from that, the biggest plus is the outdoor pool! It was open until early evening. Spending time there was a real pleasure. We highly recommend this homestay!

We had a wonderful stay at Johnsons Homestay. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We received advice for our time in Allepey and also for the rest of our trip through Kerala. The pool was refreshing and spotless. It has a central location between the beach, the dock for boat trips in the backwaters and restaurants + bars. Thank you for hosting us!

We stayed with Johnson and this was such a warm welcome to India! The location is perfect, an ATM within 2 minutes walking, a fruit and veg market within 5 minutes walking and a lovely supermarket within 20 minutes. The pool was so refreshing and we even were treated with tea on arrival. The highlight of our trip was the village canoe tour which in our opinion is the best way to see the backwaters. It is the most private serene experience compared to the shikaras. We cant recommend this stay more!

I had a wonderful stay at Johnsons home stay! Johnson is extremely kind and helpful as is Bindu who made us fresh tea in the morning! Johnson kindly arranged a canoe experience in the backwaters of a rural village, he drove me there himself and it was such a peaceful and beautiful experience! I highly recommend staying here if you are in Allepy!
