I have been staying at this hotel since yesterday, and it has been a highly disappointing experience. For a property that claims a 4-star rating, the standards are shockingly poor, making it completely worthless for the price paid.The biggest letdown is the food. As someone looking forward to authentic local flavors, the dining experience was pathetic: the pradhaman they served completely bland and lacking any depth of flavor.Tawa Neymeen absolutely horrible and poorly prepared.Beyond the food, the overall amenities are severely lacking and do not live up to basic 4-star expectations.The only saving grace of this hotel is its excellent location. It is a convenient 12 minute walk to the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple. However, a great location does not justify terrible service, bad food, and substandard amenities. I would not recommend staying here unless you only care about proximity to the temple and plan to eat elsewhere.

Not Sure why Many of them are giving Low rating. But as per me, My stay was great. I had a good experience. Room are Good , service was good. I had book on 21st Oct 2026 It's very near to temple main gate. Please do book before you see negative feedback.

I booked this property primarily because of its convenient, walkable distance from the temple, but the stay was disappointing. 1. Poor room conditions and maintenance. As soon as we entered inside the room, cupboard door was found damaged and came out in my hand. I called the room service. They told they will inform the maintenace, but maintenace guy never came and some how I managed to fix the door myself. The shower room door was damaged and water came out while bathing. Hot water was not available in the shower in the morning. 2. Poor response from reception upon call. When I called reception, call was mostly unavailable. There was a call back option to select but no one called back upon selecting that option. When they attended call after several times of trying, they did not provide what we requested (water, towel etc.) and had to follow up again on call which shows poor responsibility and service towards customers. 3. Unprofessional staff: The reception staff (not all) showed absolutely no interest in resolving our concerns. The way the receptionist spoke and treated us was disappointing and disrespectful. When called reception, they told to call room service and when called room service, they told to call the reception. 4. Poor customer service. On the second day room cleaning was not done eventhough I kept the switch on for room cleaning required. No complementary items were replenished on the second day. Drinking water was replenished only upon request and follow up several times to the reception. Overall, the location may be convenient, but a good location cannot compensate for well maintained rooms, lack of basic facilities, and poor customer service. I strongly recommend checking other options before booking this property. This was one of the most unpleasant hotel experiences Ive had. As the hotel is nearby the temple they get sufficient bookings. So the management and staff never care about customer satisfaction. Thats what I felt.

Today I had lunch at Saj Lucia and ordered the Fish Curry Meals. The serving style was excellent, and the restaurant staff were very courteous, attentive, and professional. I truly appreciated their hospitality. However, I was disappointed with the quality of the meals. The avial was not prepared with proper fresh vegetables, and the rice served was not up to the standard I expected. The pradhaman (payasam) lacked taste, the pulissery seemed to be made with old curd, and the fish curry appeared to be prepared with instant gravy rather than freshly cooked, which affected the overall flavor. I shared my feedback with the chef, who personally came to the table, tasted the food, and acknowledged that the quality was not up to the hotels usual standards. I hope the management takes this feedback positively and restores the excellent food quality that guests expect from Saj Lucia.

I would like to appreciate Mr. Maibam Dayananda and Mr. Poireinganba Ngathem are very kind and helpful members of the restaurant staff. They provided clear and proper information about the food and service, and ensured that the food was served on time. They were very polite, well-mannered, and attentive throughout our visit. All the staff members were courteous and professional. Overall, we had a pleasant dining experience and truly appreciate the excellent service.
