Today I had lunch at Saj Lucia and ordered the Fish Curry Meals. The serving style was excellent, and the restaurant staff were very courteous, attentive, and professional. I truly appreciated their hospitality. However, I was disappointed with the quality of the meals. The avial was not prepared with proper fresh vegetables, and the rice served was not up to the standard I expected. The pradhaman (payasam) lacked taste, the pulissery seemed to be made with old curd, and the fish curry appeared to be prepared with instant gravy rather than freshly cooked, which affected the overall flavor. I shared my feedback with the chef, who personally came to the table, tasted the food, and acknowledged that the quality was not up to the hotels usual standards. I hope the management takes this feedback positively and restores the excellent food quality that guests expect from Saj Lucia.

Recently we had stayed in Hotel Saj Luciya, Trivandrum for 3 days. The hotel is very centrally located close to lord Padmanabha Swamy temple Central bus terminus, Railway station and shopping centre. The ambience of the hotel is very good. The hotel was neat and clean .The hotel staff were friendly. Every aspect of the hotel is best.I being frequent traveler felt that any changes that has to be thought about by the hotel authority is the buffet breakfast of the hotel, where lots of planning is required for improvement apart from it I felt restaurant attached is over priced.

The primary advantage of Saj Luciya is its proximity to Padmanabhaswamy Temple, making it a convenient choice for visitors. However, my experience with the services was highly disappointing. During my stay, I encountered several issues: No bath towels were provided in the room. Despite repeated attempts to contact the reception, phone calls were not attended, nor was any callback received. The bathroom and entrance areas have glossy floor tiles, but no floor mat or dry cloth was provided. This creates a significant risk of slipping, especially after using the bathroom. The room lights were flickering intermittently, indicating possible electrical issues. No bucket was available in the bathroom. While both overhead and hand showers were installed, the water pressure was extremely low, making it difficult to bathe comfortably. Overall, my first-day experience was very disappointing. I had initially planned to stay here for three days during my visit to Trivandrum, but due to these service shortcomings, I decided to cancel my extended stay plans. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and improves the quality of service for future guests.

If your primary reason for visiting the city is to visit the Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple, you won't find a better location than this. It is literally a 1-2 minute walk from the hotel to the temple entrance, which is a huge plus for pilgrims. The hotel also serves excellent vegetarian food that is fresh and flavorful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, making it a great place to rest after a long day of travel or sightseeing. A perfect combination of convenience and quality service. Definitely worth a stay!

Very Bad Experience at Hotel SAJ Luciya The only good thing about this hotel is that it is within walking distance to Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple. Apart from that, our experience was very disappointing. - We booked this hotel mainly because of the swimming pool facility, but when we arrived, we were informed that the pool was under maintenance. This should have been communicated in advance. - The AC in the room was not cooling properly, making the stay uncomfortable. - During dinner at the restaurant, the power supply went off and did not return for more than 2 hours. - Surprisingly, the generator backup did not switch on, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. - Many food items mentioned on the menu were not available, leaving us with very limited choices. Overall, this was a very poor experience for our family. We expected much better service and basic facilities. I would not recommend this hotel except for the convenience of being near the temple.
