I had a wonderful stay at this homestay! The owner and his family were extremely kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout my visit. They even helped us with small things like using their iron and showed us how to tie a South Indian lungi, which made the experience even more special and memorable. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and had AC all at a very affordable price Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm and comfortable stay!

I would strongly advise against staying at this place. When we called the owner to book the room, he quoted 1800 for non-AC and 2500 for AC. When I mentioned that three people would be staying, he immediately demanded 500 extra. When I asked why, he gave no proper explanation. I assumed it was for an extra bed. When we arrived (early December), almost all rooms were empty. We kept our bags, and the owner immediately started pressuring me to decide how many days we would stay. He forced me to commit on the spot, even though we had clearly said we were unsure between one or two days. The moment I said two days, he demanded that I transfer 4600 immediately. This was a major red flag, but I ignored it at the time. Despite charging extra, we received nothing in return. No extra bed was provided, and even if he had intended to give one, there is literally no space in the room for it. At night, the place was infested with mosquitoes. Completely unbearable. There were no mosquito nets, no repellents, nothing, and the plants outside only made the situation worse. On top of that, the room became extremely hot at night (around 36C), making it impossible to sleep. Heat + mosquitoes = absolute misery. I was just counting the days until we could leave. The property is clearly being run with little to no maintenance. The owners only focus seems to be squeezing money out of guests. To make matters worse, the bathroom vent is open, and the adjacent building has a window directly facing it, meaning the inside of the bathroom is clearly visible, which is a serious privacy issue. Overall, this place is poorly maintained, overpriced, uncomfortable, and run by a greedy owner. Do yourself a favor and book literally any other hotel nearby instead of staying in this unmaintained place.

AVOID A good location but they advertised and charged for an A/C room with kitchen available and provided me with a tiny room, no water, no A/C and no kitchen facilities in sight. He happily took my money and then informed me sorry A/C not available. The room was so hot I couldnt stay. I would avoid this place. I can not understand how it has so many good reviews

I recently stayed at this hotel with my wife, and the experience was a mix of positives and negatives. Positives: #The location is convenient, especially for exploring Fort Kochi. #The host and caretaker, Sajan, were very welcoming and accommodating. Sajan's friendly demeanor made us feel at ease. Negatives: #Unfortunately, the facilities left much to be desired. We opted for an AC room, but during a power failure, the AC stopped working. There was no generator or inverter backup for the AC, which was disappointing given the humid climate. #The overall ambience of the property was not up to expectations. It lacked the charm or comfort one would hope for in a hotel stay. While the staff's hospitality was commendable, the lack of basic amenities and an underwhelming atmosphere detracted from the overall experience. This place might work for budget travelers, but theres definitely room for improvement. Also comparing with :Orion sky wings' which we stayed on our last vacation this room is not recommended. 2/5
