Great place to stay if you are visiting Munnar. The stay is 20-25min away from Munnar market. The hosts were very warm, and welcoming and made our experience of stay very enjoyable. The lemon tea served by the owner was very fresh and refreshing

Excellent stay at Green Dale! Best homestay we have ever stayed at. Wonderful location with Mountain View and spice gardens right behind. Breakfast and dinner are so fresh, homely and tasty. Rooms are spacious and modern. Best part of the homestay were the hosts, they really take very good care of you and make sure that all your needs are fulfilled. They are very caring, kind, attentive and respond fast. Both uncle and auntie will make your stay worthwhile. Will definitely be visiting again!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming homestay on the outskirts of Munnar, hosted by the lovely Kuttappan and his wife. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality that made out stay truly memorable. The homestay was clean and maintained, providing a comfortable and hygienic environment for relaxation. One of the highlights of my visit was the delicious and authentic Kerala cuisine prepared by Kuttappan's wife. Every meal was a delight, showcasing the rich flavors of the region, and I looked forward to each dining experience. Kuttappan was an invaluable host, always ready to assist guests with anything they needed. His deep knowledge of the area proved to be essential, as he guided me to some fantastic local attractions, helping me avoid the typical tourist traps that can often be overwhelming in Munnar. Another unique aspect of this homestay is their spices farm, which is definitely worth a visit. I found it fascinating to see where the spices are grown and learn about it. This authentic experience is far more rewarding than visiting the commercialized spice gardens in Munnar. The location of the homestay in Aanchal offers a peaceful retreat from the bustling crowds of Munnar, making it a perfect escape to unwind and enjoy natures beauty. The tranquil surroundings truly added to the relaxing experience. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Munnar, especially if its your first time. Trust Kuttappan to guide you through the best spots in the area. He will ensure your stay is both enjoyable and memorable. My stay included 2 families - 4 adults and 2 kids (10 years) Both are Vegetarians, love tracking, tea and coffee with homemade food. 3 nights with all rooms (1 big with AC and 2 small rooms NonAC) Recommendations - avoid shopping in Munnar( sarees, spices and chocolates) if you are visiting Cochin or Trivandrum.

Amazing experience staying at this place. The host- Mr. Kuttappan is very helpful. He really went out of the way and arranged authentic malayali food. One thing that needs mention- His wife, Sujatha, cooks amazingly well! He helped us schedule all of our visits to all tourist points too. The house is very neat & clean. We had 2 toddlers with us, so cleanliness was top priority. Definitely recommend it to visitors, who have less knowledge of the area but want to enjoy the vacation to the fullest. Adding a pic, that is the younger one with the host!
