Excellent stay at Green Dale! Best homestay we have ever stayed at. Wonderful location with Mountain View and spice gardens right behind. Breakfast and dinner are so fresh, homely and tasty. Rooms are spacious and modern. Best part of the homestay were the hosts, they really take very good care of you and make sure that all your needs are fulfilled. They are very caring, kind, attentive and respond fast. Both uncle and auntie will make your stay worthwhile. Will definitely be visiting again!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming homestay on the outskirts of Munnar, hosted by the lovely Kuttappan and his wife. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality that made out stay truly memorable. The homestay was clean and maintained, providing a comfortable and hygienic environment for relaxation. One of the highlights of my visit was the delicious and authentic Kerala cuisine prepared by Kuttappan's wife. Every meal was a delight, showcasing the rich flavors of the region, and I looked forward to each dining experience. Kuttappan was an invaluable host, always ready to assist guests with anything they needed. His deep knowledge of the area proved to be essential, as he guided me to some fantastic local attractions, helping me avoid the typical tourist traps that can often be overwhelming in Munnar. Another unique aspect of this homestay is their spices farm, which is definitely worth a visit. I found it fascinating to see where the spices are grown and learn about it. This authentic experience is far more rewarding than visiting the commercialized spice gardens in Munnar. The location of the homestay in Aanchal offers a peaceful retreat from the bustling crowds of Munnar, making it a perfect escape to unwind and enjoy nature’s beauty. The tranquil surroundings truly added to the relaxing experience. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Munnar, especially if it’s your first time. Trust Kuttappan to guide you through the best spots in the area. He will ensure your stay is both enjoyable and memorable. My stay included 2 families - 4 adults and 2 kids (10 years) Both are Vegetarians, love tracking, tea and coffee with homemade food. 3 nights with all rooms (1 big with AC and 2 small rooms NonAC) Recommendations - avoid shopping in Munnar( sarees, spices and chocolates) if you are visiting Cochin or Trivandrum.

Beautiful rustic home stay.. Impeccably clean and well maintained.Humble and affectionate hosts.They provide homely hygienic home cooked meals. Host took us through the plantations and also arranged a safe Jeep for Safari.

To everyone who sees this review, let me tell you that Greendale homestay is an experience, more than just a stay. Kutappan uncle and Sujo aunty make us feel so home, and it's the perfect destination for family. The way uncle plans out each day for us is so perfect and we got to cover so many touristic and beautiful destinations in and around Chitrapuram and Munnar area. The food, as we had heard from other reviews, is simply delicious and we always looked forward to breakfast and dinner :P He showed us his plantation as well and he gave us so much knowledge on so many spices, fruits, plants and trees around. The homestay is placed in such an ideal location, with the perfect weather, and the perfect people around and Dolu the cat, that we feel like staying here for a little more longer. We are definite that we would visit the place again many times in future! :)

The best place to stay in Munnar! This house is very clean and surrounded by nature! You can use also the kitchen of the family, they will welcome you with open heart! I felt like home, they took care of me and my friends and Mr Kuttappan even shared with us his morning meditations and chanting! His wife cooked for us with much love! I will definitely come back to stay here for longer! Thank you so much for the beautiful time we shared! Hari om
