My recent stay at Green Peppers Homestay was extremely disappointing. The worst part was the host's behaviorrude, unwelcoming, and completely lacking in basic hospitality. Instead of addressing concerns politely, the host was dismissive and even arrogant at times, making the entire experience uncomfortable and unpleasant. The property itself was poorly maintained. The rooms were not clean, the bathroom lacked hygiene, and the amenities mentioned in the listing were either broken or missing. It felt like the focus was entirely on collecting payment, not on providing any level of comfort or service. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place. There are far better homestay options where guests are treated with respect and basic standards are upheld.

Stayed 3 nights with family (4 people, 2 rooms) at this homestay Room Positives: - Plug points work great for charging. - Bedsheets and pillows are comfy; no back pain from the bed. - Ceiling fan and lights function perfectly. - Comes with a cupboard, table, and chairs. - Drinking water heater and towel provided on request. Room Negative: - Heater worked well in one deluxe double room, but the outside bathroom heater didnt. Common Areas & Host: - Kitchen and dining area are cozy and pleasant. - Stunning hot air balloon view from the common balcony. - Host Ramkumar is friendly, helpful, and humble. - Free breakfast (thanks to Genius Level 3 discount)coffee, tea, and home cooked idly, dosa, appam etc were excellent. - Dinner available on request (menu needs early evening confirmation). - Campfire prep requires morning notice. Location: - Just 1km from Anachals main area (~2000 steps walking). Tons of restaurants nearby. - Dont miss the Kalari Kshethra cultural showsuper close and totally worth it in Munnar! Great stay for affordable price, other places charge around 11k to 15k for 3 nights, we paid only 7k (via discount & breakfast included) overallhighly recommend!

We have booked a room from Chennai. Booking confirmation given by a person name Ram, and paid advance amount rs 1900 after the wayanad landslide issue. We have cancelled the trip. We paid the advance payment. They will return the amount they give a promise by Ram but it's More than a month still we didn't get a paid amount. Money not coming from the tree. This is a very bad experience with these people. Kindly Don't trust these people. Don't make any progress directly. Better go with the guidance of other booking apps.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Green Pepper Guest House. We originally booked two nights here but ended up extending one more night just to stay indoors and relax following three weeks of non-stop backpacking. The bed was huge and by far the most comfortable weve seen in India so far. The bedroom, bathroom and balcony area were all spotlessly clean. Shower pressure is great with hot option. The private balcony is the perfect setting to enjoy mornings and/or evenings on, and you feel you have privacy whilst also being part of a guesthouse with other guests and Ram and his family. Ram will offer you tea, coffee and homemade breakfast/dinner, which he can add on to your bill (he makes an excellent Tea!!). Theres also a menu for a nearby takeaway restaurant if you fancy something else. Ram suggested ideas for our Munnar itinerary and helped us with our onward journey to Madurai, too. He even gave my girlfriend a lift to the local shops on the back of his motorbike late at night. Regular busses to Ananchal /Pallivasal/Munnar town stop outside the place so you have the option to navigate the surrounding areas via cheap public transport as well as Tuk Tuks. Overall we highly recommend Green Pepper Guest House. Thanks Ram for taking care of us!
