We had a wonderful family stay at Gramam Homestay in Kumbalangi, and it was truly a memorable experience. The location is absolutely beautiful, right by the backwaters and surrounded by greenery and the peaceful charm of Kumbalangi. The ambience is calm, natural and perfect for anyone looking to spend quality time with family away from the usual busy hotel environment. The rooms are very spacious and have plenty of windows, allowing the fresh air and cool backwater breeze to flow through. One of the highlights of our stay was sitting on the veranda and enjoying the rain while looking out over the backwaters. With the rain, the greenery and the peaceful surroundings, it was an amazing experience and something we will remember. The children actually enjoyed the place even more than we did! They had the opportunity to experience fishing right from the backwaters, which was something very special for them. It was wonderful to see them so excited and engaged with nature rather than being occupied with phones or screens. The overall hospitality and service were also very good. The hosts were warm, welcoming and attentive, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. For us, Gramam was not just a place to stayit was an experience of Kerala's backwaters, nature, rain, fishing and simple family moments. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Gramam Homestay! It was one of the most peaceful and calming places weve visited. The property is even more beautiful than the pictures, and the views are simply breathtaking. The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and made us feel right at home throughout our stay. The hospitality was exceptional, and every little detail reflected the care they put into the place. The food was delicious, fresh, and truly homely, making the experience even more memorable. If youre looking for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature, I highly recommend Gramam Homestay. We had an amazing time and would definitely love to come back!

We stayed at Gramam for three nights in August 2026. Located in the beautiful and charming Kumbalangi, it's the ideal vacation stay if you are looking to have a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of day to day chaos. The house is wonderful with spacious interiors which are well lit and breezy. The traditional home overlooks the serene Kumbalangi lake and watching the sunset from the garden bench is an experience on its own. And if you want to have a shower under the night sky, look no further. The bathroom is a mini-planetarium. The host, Jos and family were professional and helpful. Breakfast dishes were amazing and served with care. They also provided dinner on request (charged separately). We would recommend Gramam to anyone who wants to have a peaceful and relaxing time away from the city.

We had amazing stay. This stay is so good. They gave full freedom to explore everything and they respect our privacy and didn't interfere. We brought our 2 Year old baby. So it's a full baby friendly stay.

Gramam is an excellent home stay in kumbalangi. Very hospitable and helpful hosts. Well maintained property. Rooms are very clean. Location is so ideal to explore kumbalangi.
