Stayed at GV Royal Residency, Vattavada. The location and ambience are really nice peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a short nature getaway. The stay itself was comfortable and the surroundings beautiful. But the service was extremely disappointing. Staff were very unhelpful, didnt even provide basic things like drinking water, and ignored requests politely made. Even after giving extra money (tips), there was no improvement. Verdict: Great place for the location and ambience, but service is very poor. Not recommended if you expect even basic hospitality. .

I am very disappointed, Very bad customer experience. Toilets are not even cleaned properly.. The Sheets and beds are very dirt not washing it properly after use. I am not recommending at this cost (2500). We can get another luxury room at this price range. So don't go for it .. I recommend Mountain hut resort nearby this resort it have been properly maintained and cleaned . Nice view and nice ambience

Its a terrible experience in stay with Golden Vintage Residency, Munnar .. All the facilities mentioned in Makemy trip catalog are false statements.. List of negatives found 1. There is no car parking 2. Accessible to hotel is in terrible location.. you have to cross narrow 8 feet main road in village 3. No road to reach hotel location 4. Even drinking water not provided by hotel even after request.. They told us to use tap water in sink 5. No hotel reception counter and no Helpdesk .. 6. One care taker is there .. He dont no English or either Hindi to communicate 7. Brakefast is not prepared in hotel.. Bought from outside local hotels packed in multiple paper and plastic covers which is not acceptable and not hygienic 8. No room service provided and not intercom to communicate with reception 9. No Airtel network and Internet and WiFi not available 10. Room is very dirty and not at all cleaned 11. Not washed bedspread and dirty blankets are provided with lot of hairs from earlier guest used attached in blankets 12. No coffee and tea is available in hotel 13. owner is not helpful.. she will give care taker number and disappear 14. Only one care taker is maintaining entire hotel activities and always not available or maybe busy with other guests 15. Even though we booked it for two days , we vacated early morning with terrible experience 16. Property is in remote location nearly 42 KM faraway from Munnar..

Our stay at this hotel was terrible. The room was dusty, the bathroom was dirty, and the bed was uncomfortable. The service was extremely poor, the staff seemed careless and not interested in helping us. The overall environment felt unsafe making it impossible to relax. No parking space was provided by them, so we have to park our car at the roadside. For the price charged, this place is a complete disappointment.

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The rooms were poorly maintained, the cleanliness was below standard, and the staff were unhelpful and unresponsive to concerns. The food quality was unsatisfactory, and basic facilities were not provided as promised. Overall, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had, and I would not recommend this place to others.no privacy and safety for our vehicle .
