We spent quite a few vacations in Kovalam and twice stayed in Gokulam. Both experiences were just perfect. I can say that this is the best vacation home we found in the area. The house is not reachable by car, you need to walk about 200 meters from the nearest road. The host always helped us with the luggage at arrivals and departures. He also arranged a taxi for us. The overall location is quiet. House is spacious: two bedrooms and a living room. There is a well equipped kitchen including teapots. We were also provided with drinking water for fair price. Thank you, Mr. Jayaprakash, for your hospitality and helping us in every matter we needed.

Amazing homestay in Kovalam. As usual, we had a great stay at Gokulam. Quiet and peaceful; lovely garden; clean rooms; excellent service; family friendly; safe; efficient and helpful staff We recommend Gokulam 100% for a wonderful stay in Kovalam. Mr.Jayaprakash and his wife are excellent hosts - very helpful and hospitable and we are very happy customers. See you during our next trip.

The Homestay is walkable distance to Kovalam beach. The place is welll managed and kept clean. The area is quite and have cool breeze though surrounded by buildings.Please keep in mind after parking car you need to come a short distance in bike arranged by Homestay to reach the place. The staff is very friendly and supportive. There is a kitchen available. Breakfast they provide is tasty and meets the purpose. It has got two medium sized tidy rooms available. Don't expect posh facilities. It is a good choice to stay if your priority is enjoying beach and exploring Trivandrum for a while. My visit was for business purpose where I leave in the morning after breakfast and return at night after dinner. For such stays its best suited.

Had an amazing stay at Gokulam Homestay. The owner, Mr. Jayaprakash, ensured that the hospitality was top-notch and made us feel very welcome. The location of the property can be a bit tricky, but the owner's helpful nature made it feel effortless. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wishes to connect with a local like Mr. Jayaprakash in Kerala.

This is the hidden gem. Always prefer to stay near beach and it is one of the homestay which is near to lighthouse beach and hawa beach..it's walkable... Very good experience and I strongly recommend this homestay for family. Jay prakash is very helpful person. You don't need to worry at all for anything he will take care of it. I love his care towards us.
