We got 2 rooms. One was good with decent basic amenities. But the other described as tree house with a scenic view, the view was great no doubt in it. But the floor was damt sticky. Pillows had pungent smell. Toilet was very small. Positive note- The front building room was good, good space to hang out with swing and outdoor sitout

Even though the view is good, the room, the bedsheets provided all are very dirty and filled with flies. Swimming pool was not maintained well. Not a good place to stay. Staff behaviour was bad when asked for a change of room and it seemed the staff was drunk. Dont go for this stay seeing the pictures provided by them cos it's a totally different one u get to stay once you get there. Wouldn't suggest to anyone

I am genuinely confused about the high ratings for this property and regret booking it at 3,452 per night. In hindsight, I should have paid more attention to the lowest-rated reviews, as they reflect the actual experience much more accurately. Location & View The resort is easy to locate, with only the last few hundred meters being off-road. It is situated about 3 km from Vagamon town, which is reasonable. We stayed in a cottage, and the valley view from the room was excellent. This view is, unfortunately, the only real positive of the stay. Check-in & Hospitality There was no attempt from the property to contact us on the day of check-in, which already set a poor first impression. The check-in experience felt cold and unwelcoming, with no sense of hospitality or care toward guests. The cottage allotted to us was at the bottom of the property. This was not an issue for us, as we are comfortable climbing steps. A property cannot rely solely on a good view. The lack of cleanliness, poor maintenance, weak hospitality, and serious safety risks make this stay not worth the price and difficult to recommend. This is a hard pass. Future guests are strongly advised to read the low-rated reviews carefully before booking, as they are far more accurate than the overall rating suggests.

They dont know the concept of Service, The staff is very rude and unprofessional. They couldnt provide basic amenities such as water and toileteries and towels until we call the booking platform MMT. They dont have food options and rooms are pathetic, they have insects everywhere and no measures For same

"I had a terrible experience with JMount Vagamon. We paid an advance of 3,000 to book our stay, but upon arrival, the behavior of the staff was so unprofessional and disrespectful that we decided not to check in at all. Despite having paid a significant deposit, the management showed zero hospitality and made us feel extremely unwelcome from the moment we arrived. It is rare to encounter staff so indifferent to customer service that you'd rather lose your advance and leave than stay there. Save your money and your peace of mindbook elsewhere. There are plenty of other homestays in Vagamon that actually value their guests. Total waste of money and a ruined start to our trip."
