My recent stay in Munnar was truly memorable. The resort had an amazing forest ambiance that made the whole experience feel peaceful and refreshing. Waking up to the soothing sound of birds and the gentle flow of the nearby river was something really special and calming. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax and feel at home. The food was super delicious with a great variety, and every meal was something to look forward to. What made the stay even more special was the wonderful staff. They were extremely helpful, friendly, and always available whenever needed. Their care and hospitality really made me feel comfortable throughout my stay. Thank you for making my stay so comfortable and special. I would definitely love to visit again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Munnar.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this resort! The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with beautiful interiors and all the necessary amenities. The view from the property was breathtaking and made the entire experience even more special. The food was excellentfresh, delicious, and with great variety. Every meal was satisfying. The swimming pool was amazingclean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing while enjoying the scenic surroundings. The staff were extremely polite, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made us feel truly valued as guests. The entire property was clean, peaceful, and well-maintained. What makes it even better is that its affordable for the quality and experience offered. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay!

Our stay was a mixed experience. We had originally booked a room at Elenimarywood Homestay, which shares common facilities, including the swimming pool, with the nearby Elenimarywood Resort. On arrival, there was no receptionist available at the homestay, as reception services are handled from the resort located about 100200 meters away. The owner, Pinky K. Jose, was out of town during our stay, but she remained easily reachable by phone and communicated politely and professionally throughout. Before our arrival, we had been assured of 24/7 hot water. Unfortunately, there was no hot water available during our stay at the homestay, and we also experienced frequent power interruptions. Whenever we contacted Ms. Pinky K. Jose, she responded promptly and genuinely tried to resolve the issues. At check-in, the staff encouraged us to upgrade to a room at the nearby resort for an additional charge. Since we had intentionally booked a budget room, we declined. However, due to the ongoing issues at the homestay, Ms. Pinky K. Jose kindly arranged a complimentary upgrade to the resort. Although the resort manager had initially asked us to pay for the upgrade, she intervened and ensured it was provided free of charge, which we truly appreciated. Unfortunately, the experience at the resort was also disappointing. The room appeared to have been allocated without proper housekeeping. The floor was not clean, bath towels were not provided, the bed linen and pillow covers did not appear fresh, and the bathroom cleanliness was below expectations. It felt as though the room had been vacated recently and was reassigned without adequate cleaning or changing of the linen. Overall, I appreciate the owner's responsiveness, professionalism, and willingness to resolve the problems we faced. Her customer service deserves recognition. However, both the homestay and the resort need significant improvements in maintenance, housekeeping, and guest readiness. While the staff's efforts and the complimentary upgrade were appreciated, the overall stay fell short of expectations due to the cleanliness and facility-related issues.

Elenji Merrywoods Resort is a great option for a peaceful stay near Munnar, especially for travelers with pets. The check-in and check-out process is smooth, and the staff, including the receptionist, are very friendly and welcoming. The luxury rooms are spacious and come with a beautiful balcony offering great views of nature. The common swimming pool, open till 9 PM, is clean and well maintained. One of the biggest challenges as a pet parent while traveling is finding affordable, truly pet-friendly accommodation where pets can stay comfortably, and this place fulfills that very well. There is enough space to take pets for walks and relax comfortably. The resort is located about 2530 minutes from Munnar town, which helps avoid the heavy traffic and allows you to enjoy the calm natural surroundings. The early mornings here are especially beautiful with fresh air and peaceful surroundings. Overall, a very pleasant and relaxing place to stay. Highly recommended.
