Good place for a quiet stay. Note that this is *not* located in Munnar proper but about 8km South from the town center. It is also not located at a main road but one has to take a deviation into a tiny road through a tea estate. There are two approaches - one is 500m of fully concrete tiny road but with a very severe incline and definitely not for inexperienced drivers or underpowered/heavy cars. The other, which we took is 400m of the same tiny road from another direction but has a less severe gradient. It however has a 50m stretch of stone path with big steps at either end - all hatchbacks and sedans need to be extremely careful here. We reached at night and ended up breaking our mudflaps due to low visibility and zero room for maneuvering. Room: The main structure is located quite a few steps above the parking area, room is medium sized sized with a retro look. We got one of the lower rooms which had an additional room for a third person to sleep in. Bathroom can be made better - one gas geyser seems to be shared between two rooms and it gets difficult to get hot water for obvious reasons. There was also lot of mold growing on the walls and roof, and the flush tank leaked every time it was used. Overall acceptable since we were out for most of the day. Service: Brilliant. All requests are taken care of. Absolutely no complaints or concerns here. They provide breakfast only. Lunch and dinner are brought on an individual order basis and they charge ?150 as the delivery charge.

We stayed here last month. Places was excellent, care taker was really good and very helpful. It can accommodate 16 ppl easily. They serve complimentary breakfast ( idly & appam ), campfire & music system. Pro’s: -calm & serene place far from city with lush environment. -Dinner from friends catering which was really good. Cons: - Road to the resort was very narrow, u need a experienced driver to reach resort from main road - fan in one of the room was not working. Note: exit route from the cottage was very steep so kindly go with good driver.

It's a room located near the Chitrapuram plantation. The road to this hotel is a bit difficult to find and its an off-road. Still, they have a beautiful ( inside a forest facing a mountain view and also you can find wild squirrels, monkeys, and hens ) residence and their services are pretty good.

Our stay at Clouds Land was great - the place is excellent value. Rooms are simple but very comfortable, with a nice seating area in front to enjoy the view on the forest (you can even eat your meals there). There are only 4 rooms, making the place feel intimate and ensuring you’re well taken care of. The manager went above and beyond in helping us with every request (info on treks, transport, etc.) and took us on a nice sunrise walk. Food is delicious and very reasonably priced, no need to ever eat elsewhere. Location is in a nice natural setting vs. in town options, yet accessible: 150m walk to bus stop to Munnar (~15min and a few rupees) Look no further!
