The most breathtaking view in Munnar! You can go deep within the plantation farm on almost no charge. There is sufficient parking and a couple of small tea/snacks shops.

This place was not exactly Pothanmedu. But on the way to Pothanmedu and return back to Cochin I have seen lots of good view points which included a small lake passing with the mist. Such a wonderful trip. Being a Keralite and been Munnar several times, but this was the cherry on cake. Going in the winter would be recommended.

The morning view is amazing. I've been there twice, and the last time I went, it was so foggy that I couldn't see a thing. However, two years ago, I enjoyed a stunning morning view while staying at the Abad Copper Castle Hotel, which is close to the viewpoint.
