We were only there for one night, not even 24 hours. So I can't say much. It's very simple and inexpensive, green and quietwe liked it. The owners are really nice. And the man is also a driver and took us around Kumily/Thekkady with his rickshaw, and to Fort Kochi by car the next day.

Super host. Awesome food. Very clean rooms.. Very friendly and helpful. Prices are also very cheap. If you visit Thekkady do stay at this homestay.. Very near to Periyar Boating,Elephant ride & Spice garden. Perfect place to spend your vacation.

We stayed at Blooms Home Stay, Thekkady with our family and two small children (5 years old). We had actually planned to stay for 3 days, but because of the poor experience and inconvenience, we were forced to vacate after just one day. Before arriving, we tried calling many times to inform our arrival time and location, but they never picked up the calls. Because of this, we struggled to find the place on our own. Though the room was clean and neat, that is the only positive point. They did not provide even basic amenities: No toiletries No towel No soap or shampoo No drinking water The main issue was the water heater. The heater was not working, and the heater switch was kept downstairs in the owners house, not in the guest room. Every time we needed hot water, we had to call again and again and request them to switch it on. This was extremely difficult and stressful, especially with two young children in cold weather. There was no proper hospitality, no concern for guests, and no basic facilities. Because of all these problems, we cancelled the remaining days and checked out after just one day, even though our plan was for 3 days. I strongly recommend NOT staying here, especially if you are traveling with family or children. Very disappointing experience. We will never return.

Nice place to stay at Thekkady with family. Owner is very nice person and he will arrange all tickets for all shows when requested. He will arrange jeep safari and local transport when needed. Good homely food provided. Location is very nice and good scenery.
