We had a wonderful stay at this homestay. The host was extremely helpful and very well-behaved, offering excellent hospitality throughout our visit. The food and tea(breakfast) were awesome and made the stay even more enjoyable. The place is surrounded by greenery all around, giving a very peaceful and refreshing vibe. Activities like zipline, hot air balloon rides, and trekking spots are at walkable distance, so there are many things to enjoy nearby. The locality is very nice, if you are coming by your own vehicle. Although Munnar main city is around 11 km away, this location does not feel isolated at allits calm, peaceful, lot of food options nearby veg and non veg, cafes, and perfect for relaxation. One key point is there is narrow road around 100-200m distance to reach the homestay.

My partner and I stayed here just for a night but we had an amazing stay! The room was very nice and light, hot shower, the mattress was new and very comfortable (the best one so far since traveling for 3 weeks), there is also a sharing balcony and a view to the forest. There was also a rooftop where we did yoga The breakfast was AMAZING, homely Indian food with the best appam! And what was really dearly appreciated was the host's kind gesture for letting us keep the luggage in an empty room and also hang around the whole day, go and come back...(we had a late evening bus). Thank you so much for everything

We really enjoyed our stay at Athens Cottage! The owners are very kind. They gave us coffee and tea, made some really good dosas for us and booked a taxi for us 2 times. The room was comfortable and clean. We also liked the location, which was quiet and surrounded bij plants, trees and birds.

The owner is a very kind-hearted and welcoming person. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Complimentary tiffin and tea are provided, which is a thoughtful gesture. The food served here is of excellent quality, very hygienic, and tastes great. Overall, it is a pleasant place to stay with warm hospitality.

Had a wonderful experience staying at Athens Cottage! The place is surrounded by lush greenery with a stunning forest view that makes it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the atmosphere was calm and refreshing. The owners were extremely polite, welcoming, and always ready to help their hospitality made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommend this cottage for anyone visiting Munnar and looking for a peaceful nature stay!
